Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

we arrive at AKL Nov 8, then move to the Poly Nov 11. No options for FP+ or magic bands. We just booked a week ago and have not yet hit our date to make final payment on the Disney package although we do see the hotel reservations & tickets in the my Disney experience site and app. Has anyone been able to customize magic bands prior to making final payment?

I don't think any of us that have check in dates after October 31st have been able to customize bands or make FP+ selections yet regardless of final payment. Maybe ask on the October or September magicband thread, they might know.

When I called last weekend for another matter just after I did the online checkin, I was transferred to an IT person and after they had corrected my issue I asked about FB+ and was told that for now there was no FB+ & MB being set up for my resort (CSR) for the dates we are there (Nov 2-11) and in fact there was no update for any other resorts in November. Then the IT person mentioned that they were still attempting to get in contact with people for October stays. Near the end of the call she said to keep an eye out for an email at the 30 mark. When I asked what it would be about all she said was to watch for an email around then with an update. Sounded kinda specific to me. Not sure if its just something they say to make us DIS'ers happy or not. Fingers crossed!

I am not at the 60 day window yet. It asks me to Link a Magic Band or Card. This is what I get when I click on "Manage Magic Bands & Cards":

I was seeing the same thing until I hit 60 days, then a new tab for customizing bands appeared.

Thanks for this info. Have you tried typing your confirmation number in that section to link it? When I do that, it says it's already linked to my account (lists my full name as opposed to acknowledging the fact that I am logged in...) so I am curious if it says its already linked for other people as well?

I've spoken with 2 CM's. One CM mentioned last week that the roll out for everyone would be November. Yesterday i was informed nothing for the months of November and December.

We'll be staying at Coronado Springs.

Now, i see on this thread that AP's and DVC may get the bands in November and December.

We're upgrading our tickets to DVC AP when there mid November. Wonder what would happen then?

No, you don't have to wait until evening. They might be in a different time zone.

I still haven't done my online check-in because I want to make sure my request is in the system (need to be near the main building due to a disability). But I'll do it soon.

Online check-in done last night as soon as I got to the 60 day mark. I had issues entering a credit card to reflect a Canadian billing address but I managed to skip that part and go on to finish the check-in.

Subscribing. We check-in 11/11 at Caribbean Beach. Has anyone heard anything about Caribbean Beach? My hubby said he read someplace about the rumor being that all resorts would be using MB by November. I will see if I can find the source. Fingers crossed for all of us excited to get MB's

I could customize my MB at 67 days out (maybe earlier but I wasn't looking) and choose FP+ at 60 days out. No final payment made. Arriving at Pop 10/31.

You really aren't selected for testing. If you are staying at a testing resort you are eligible. I do believe that you have to do online check in before the system will be available to you.

No, you'll see it in your My Disney Experience on the website. Login and go to MDE and you'll see it on the right. When you're actually able to order your MB, it'll say Personalize MBs.

I did not do online checkin either. I'm staying at Pop in October. Mine changed so I could customize at day 57. FP+ selection was the next day. But, timeframe is supposed to be more around 60 days. Mine was when they actually "turned on" testing access for October. So it was a little behind.

Oh, and I have not gotten my testing email or letter yet. I should get it around 30 days....little behind aren't they

I didn't get an email or anything. I just kept checking MDE, and one day I had the option to select FP+ and to customize MB. I think it was at around 59 days, but I'm not certain. When I hit 60 days I started stalking MDE hoping it would open up for me.

I'm with you this whole MB and FP+ issue of not knowing will I or won't I have access is driving me crazy
