Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

Subscribing. We check-in 11/11 at Caribbean Beach. Has anyone heard anything about Caribbean Beach? My hubby said he read someplace about the rumor being that all resorts would be using MB by November. I will see if I can find the source. Fingers crossed for all of us excited to get MB's

If Disney was sure they were going to have all the resorts online by November, the resorts not previously part of the initial testing should have Customize MB for, at the very least, October reservations available now, and they do not. I'm 57 days (and three hours) from my WL check in, and still nothing on MDE. I believe, and have NO confirmation of this, that Disney is waiting to see if the system can handle the increased traffic as it adds new resorts. If your resort does institute MBs, you may not be able to customize them until as late as mid October. My fingers are crossed too, I want a MB, and don't care about the FP+ thing so much.

We are staying at BWV and I am a bit surprised that they haven't had their testing yet. And there is not word that they will have testing soon.

So did you go from seeing "Manage Magic Bands" to "Personalize Magic Bands" ?

All this speculation is making my head spin. I wish someone who is starting their stay in November would have some good news for us

Yes, it said Manage Magic Bands first, I think that's just the default for everyone's accounts. Then it changed to Personalize when I could actually customize them for my order. I hope you all get to test. I was stalking mine for October hoping it was going to happen then "poof" they turned on October So keep the faith!

We are checking in at POR on Nov 2nd. I was able to check in online this morning, but still have no options to order MBs or FB+ ;-(

From what everyone is saying, it will carry over, but I have heard customization may not be released until 30 days out. When you get to 20 days to go, that's when I would call, if you can stand to wait until then!

Thanks for this info. Have you tried typing your confirmation number in that section to link it? When I do that, it says it's already linked to my account (lists my full name as opposed to acknowledging the fact that I am logged in...) so I am curious if it says its already linked for other people as well?

When I clicked on "Link Magic Band", it just takes me back to the main linking page with the ticket, resort, and dining page, so I didn't reenter it.

The FP+ system and related apps probably have planned updates where they are adding new features or fixing issues found during past rounds of testing. A release has a technical aspect (updating the code) as well as support and operations impacts (requiring training of cast members). So my guess is if they are going to open up November it will probably be after "the next release". I did not read the past month threads but my guess is that for the October arrivals, no one had access until some magic day and then a population of folks had FP+ and new folks each day after that as their arrival date rolled into the window of eligibility- looks like in the past it's been 60-70 days from arrival but given how many folks they ramped up in Sept they are probably getting a ton of last minute fixes that need to be developed and tested.

So we wait for the next software release to roll out. One morning I'll wake up, look on this board (I'm Pacific time - Silicon Valley Geek) and like magic we'll have a flurry of Nov arrivals saying they have access. At least that's my theory.

You're likely right. I wouldn't be surprised to see something around the first of October. Of course that's not going to stop me from checking multiple times everyday from now until either it's available or my plane lands in Orlando.

I was getting something similar before but the pop up was saying an error had occurred and then it was fixed and not letting me see anything to do with FP+ but now it is giving me the FP+ window message. Wishful thinking perhaps but could this be a good sign???

I just wanted to add that we are staying at POFQ which is not currently participating in the test so the FP+ being linked to a reservation for there could be promising!

I've been getting this for a couple of weeks now. I didn't think it meant anything.

We are a split stay from oct 25th-Nov 1st at GF and then Nov 1st-4th POFQ I rung to ask if I moved over the AOA for the 2nd stay would I get selected for the test and was told the test finished for AOA on Oct 31st and not to move resorts as my current booking for POFQ could still be selected for testing. The CM went on to say it was also still possible my Oct stay at GF could still get selected for testing if they rolled out the next phase in time. I have no idea if we will get picked yet for either stay but we are dying to try the magic bands so we can have one to use on our Disney Infinity game!
