Any chance more park reservations will open up this week?

Does Disney ever release extra park reservations like the day before? My DD wants to go to the parks this week, but the only openings are for Sunday, and she can't go Sunday. Should she check continuously to see if reservations suddenly become available?

They don’t release extra reservations, but they do sometimes shift availability from one pool of guests to another. People also change their plans, which will free up reservations in smaller numbers. If you already have tickets or APs, she should check continuously by actually trying to make the reservation. Just checking the calendar will not always give you the most accurate picture of availability.

So far, they have moved park reservations from annual passes to the resorts as they get closer to the dates and have excess park reservations available for AP holders.
