Anticipating Crowds-When is your Spring Break?

Please post your school (elementary or high school or college) Spring Break dates for this year?

Basically I am hoping that since Easter is early and spring break dates in the US seem to be all over the map that it won't be as insane crowded when we go

My spring break is April 12 - April 18

I live in NW Fl and our spring break this year is March 30- April 4th a good bit later than it usually falls for us, which is probably due to schools in Fl starting later this year and the date of Easter also. HTH.

Thats elementary school I forgot to add, although around here colleges seem to follow most of public school holidays too

I go to College in Springfield MA, I know a bunch of schools includeing my own who have spring break the week before Easter this year. Look like that will be the worst of the worst. I cant wait to battle through the crowds.

NJ elementary schools (at least in my district) are March 24-28. We'll be there!!!

DD's high school is off March 24 - 28

DS's tech college is off April 14 - 18

Spring break starts March 21st (Good Friday) and they return to school on March 31st for my DD (14) and 3/17 - 3/24 for my other DD (21). We always take out kids out of school earlier (dont ask) , we'll be there 3/13-3/21.

My law school, and the undergrad university as well as several other east coast schools have it 3/15-3/23 - then there are a bunch that have it the week following easter.

I did some research on this too and we actaully were going to go the week of April 14th but the airline was high. And then I found out that the first 3 weeks of April is when most Spring breaks are. We ended up booking the first week of March instead.

Most of Central Florida's public schools have their break 3/31-4/4. I am a teacher and I think I'm counting the days more than the kids! We're going to AKV for the week.

I am from Long Island and we have 3 weeks off this year:

02/18-02/22- winter break
03/17-21- Easter break
04/21-25- Passover/spring break

I think until 05/01 the crowd levels will be VERY high, just my opinion..

Lowndes County schools in MS are out the week leading up to easter.

Central Virginia and other parts of the state are Marc 24-28. I've seen a lot of posts for that week (week after Easter)
