Thank you, Willy and others who have given me well wishes. Yes, the weather looks very nice...not too hot and not too cold. I took a picture of the "firework" posting you gave when you and others welcomed Vivian to the world that I will share with my son, Danny, and his wife.

I'm all excited but as always rather nervous about the traveling day. I will feel better once we at least get to the airport, check in and are on our way. We have a 2 hour layover in Dallas in the afternoon so have been looking at possible spots to eat and partake in a little beverage or two!!

I won't be near the internet for a week so you guys will have to fill me in with all the happenings this coming week when I get back.

I will give little Vivian a big hug from all my DIS friends!!!

Oh my goodness I had so much fun last night! We had a Girl's Night Out at a pub in Tulsa. Stayed until they closed at 2, then went to IHOP. Got home at 3:30 this morning. There was a lot of drinking and dancing involved!!

So I'm back from the emergency room, fortunately no big issues. DW was at the gym this morning and during step aerobics suddenly one leg couldn't support her weight. She'd have to be on her death bed before she'd see a doctor, but she respects her fitness trainer enough that when she was told she needed to have it looked at ASAP, she followed through. They did an X-ray and said there was no major damage, just a sprain, keep it up & iced for a couple of days. She has some pain but she doesn't like to take medication. I might persuade her to take some ibuprofen later. She has a business trip in a few days, hope she's more mobile by then. Meantime I'll be Dr. Micca Welby and Consuelo (obscure reference lost on younger demographics.)

But this just confirms what I've always said: "Trying to stay healthy is fraught with peril."

She was hobbling around the house a little while ago and I said "Sit down,, tell me what you need & I'll get it for you." She gave me the "I'm not helpless" look.

Sorry I haven't been around much! Had Inservice this week and it's too depressing to talk about. Just so much extra busy work created for the teachers to justify administration jobs. ("Looky looks what our teachers can do" which is actually more like "we're forcing them to do this so we can look awesome")

Spent most of today finishing up classroom and copies for first day. Not really looking forward to this year

I got to wear my fun new purple rain jacket. Someone liked it enough at Kroger to ask me where I got it.

We have another Disney related term today it's Tigger Nope, not that one, this one--

Tigger: Something - usually electronic - that suddenly stops working, is tiggered.

Tigger as a verb means to break beyond repair.

In a sentence: Jo's son dropped his laptop at school, it's totally tiggered.

On Friday I bet I will be totally tiggered after work!
