Well friends, I'm packed. I leave in the AM for a trip to see an old friend, and then off to WDW to see another friend.
I'm hoping for nice weather in Texas and WDW.

Man Stand: The act of a man standing outside a shop while his wife/girlfriend/partner shops inside. Man Standing involves looking into space, at other women, or in the case of multi level shopping centers, leaning on the railings of an upper floor watching the people below.

A sentence with a Disney example: Man says to wife--"If you're going to browse this shop for $200 Dooney & Bourke purses I'm going to Man Stand out on Main Street until you come out."

Funny! DH & I would be fight over who gets to do the Man/Woman Standing & who has to shop. Yes, I'm a woman that absolutely hates to shop.

Today was wonderful. It rained which cooled it down enough that I wore pants!

I know! I think this hot summer made a wimp out of me. It was rainy and in the high 70s today, and I was freezing. Had to sport my Mickey hoodie.

We have another Disney related term today it's Tigger Nope, not that one, this one--

Tigger: Something - usually electronic - that suddenly stops working, is tiggered.

Tigger as a verb means to break beyond repair.

In a sentence: Jo's son dropped his laptop at school, it's totally tiggered.

Thank you, Willy and others who have given me well wishes. Yes, the weather looks very nice...not too hot and not too cold. I took a picture of the "firework" posting you gave when you and others welcomed Vivian to the world that I will share with my son, Danny, and his wife.

I'm all excited but as always rather nervous about the traveling day. I will feel better once we at least get to the airport, check in and are on our way. We have a 2 hour layover in Dallas in the afternoon so have been looking at possible spots to eat and partake in a little beverage or two!!

I won't be near the internet for a week so you guys will have to fill me in with all the happenings this coming week when I get back.

I will give little Vivian a big hug from all my DIS friends!!!
