Another Look at OKW/SSR

I'm a sucker for anything about "home". I just found this new and improved golf link at the Disney site and it includes virtual tours of the courses -- including LBV. So....another look at home for those who are interested.

Hoping to play a lot when we are Home in July for 18 days.
Also hoping th see the end f the Championship in October when we are there for my son's wedding at the Wedding pavilion.

That must be new - I was looking for something like that before we went down. We played LBV on our trip and it was great to take a look at the course again.

I will be going to the site often...........to get my Disney golf fix!

I've never heard of the Oak Ridge course. Where is that? How forgiving a course is that??

Also, if you stay at OKW, can you walk to the LBV course? Or do you have to drive? We've never golfed in WDW, but we're taking golfers with us in February.

I believe the entrance to LBV is near DTD and SSR. You can walk or take the boat or bus. Several of the fairways and greens are on the grounds of OKW.

The LBV course runs right through OKW. If you don't have (or want to use) your own car, Disney will arrange for a cab to take you to the clubhouse which is over towards DD/SSR. I'm pretty sure the transportation is complimentary.

They probably don't mention Olivia's because the golfers would have to leave the course to eat there.
