Another Annual Pass question

If I use the monthly payment option for an annual pass, will I be able to use it right away or do I have to wait until I pay it off?

Here's an unrelated to the above theme park question: why are none of the parks available in Oct or Nov, when I select AP admissions? I see availability as far as resort guests, but seems like this might be an IT problem? Anyone else run into this? I am planning a mid November visit, and am an AP holder.
Edited to add: I can of course select that I am a resort guess but it seems very odd that Oct, Nov and Dec, for example show NO availability for AP holders!

That's odd. Are you maybe over your number of allowed reservations? I have a Pixie pass (no weekends), and just now I saw this:
611525

So it's wide open, except for the weekends and Thanksgiving week.

I have a Sorcerer's Pass and I only see no availability on my blackout dates.

I am not a Fla resident, so whatever our AP is called, that's what I have. Never had this issue before but I keep trying it and the whole of Oct, Nov and Dec are just grayed out. As if APs were not even allowed in any of those months! Just weird!

How many days to you already have booked? It could be that you're over the limit without a hotel reservation.
611608

Here's the availability for that pass:
611609

So you can see there aren't any full dates at all, and no blockouts. If you already have 5 park reservations, without a linked hotel stay, then you would be all blocked out though.

I have not booked any days yet. The link above that you showed works for me, but the usual place I am led to check park availability is the one I'm having problems with. As long as I know there's availability, I'm ok.
My family has not purchased their tickets yet. My AP is due to expire the second day of our trip, so if I can't renew until 60 days before that, I can't make any park ressies beyond the first day, unless I buy myself separate tickets for the other days. And I bet I can't turn them into a renewed AP either! I would probably get charged the full new AP rate.
I think I even confused myself, rereading this! My concern is that I can't make park reservations until I can renew my AP, so I question what the park availability will be 60 days out. The way people are obsessively planning their trips these days, we have to be on top of things!

Oh, since you won’t have a pass after the trip starts, I bet that’s why you can’t see the dates for a park reservation. We can always check availability for you- but you should be able to check it also even without a ticket (as it warns you to check for availability before buying a ticket). Weird glitch, it sounds like!

Actually, I believe you are right to call it a glitch, because if I look for availability clicking on AP holders in October or November or December, when I do still have an active AP, the calendar is still blank!

But I wonder if it’s because of your type of pass (which doesn’t exist anymore). Try using the pass that is available now, just to see the dates. I bet they show reservations available. I used to have a silver pass, but that doesn’t exist any longer so I now have a Pixie pass (but it’s not the same at all).
