We have 5 people going to WDW in Dec 2 adults and 3 kiddos ages 13, 10 & 7. I am having the toughest time finding a deal. I can get a deal, sorta, but it is 1 ticket here 2 tickets there and they are not always on the same day of purchase (same departing flight though). Here is my question. Does anyone buy there tickets at different times? Does it work out? If I buy 3 tickets today and 2 tickets in a week or two what are the odds we won't get out of the town together? It looks like there are plenty of tickets for the same flight but they only have a couple for a decent price and then the price jumps way up. Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks

I buy tickets that way sometimes because we tend to add people to our trip as we go. If I buy my ticket and my DH's ticket at one time, I may buy a ticket for my mom on the same flights later one. And then we may add a niece or two after that. It works out fine other than having separate itineraries to print and use for check in. Not a big deal for me.

Thanks. I just didn't want to have 2 people leaving on a Friday and 3 on Saturday. We are driving about 90 miles to an airport with better rates. This may not sound like a big deal but if you have different flights 3 kids and unpredictable weather anything can turn into a big deal.

What airline are you flying? Is it non-stop? With separate reservations, if there is a flight cancellation it is possible that they will move you to different flights.
