Annual Pass Pandora Sneak Preview

I got in for the 6-8 window on May 21. My confirmation email came through about 2.5 hours later.

WDW's email system is awful. We are staying on-site the 14-17 , have APs, and I got no email.

I just was watching the daily fix and... Now the event is full.... argh. That's what I get for actually working this morning... ;-(

That was your mistake :-)

I am very impressed how much room and how long it stayed open. normally special events are full in 2-3 seconds of when they hit email or facebook.

Agree, these should have been gone hours ago. Did you manage to get in?

Yea very surprised it stayed open as long as it did. I clicked the link 30 min after it was posted here and expected it to be full by then.

I also got May 16 for our tickets. I got lucky, waited 2 minutes (there was a pop up that told me not to close the browser) and had my choice of May 15-19, 2017, all time slots. I selected the 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. time with ROL FP+ at 8:35 p.m. This is our DS (lunch at Homecoming) pool day and the only FP+ I had scheduled is in the evening at EPCOT for FEA--dropped that one like a hot rock to go to this event. Pretty stoked--we are never in Disney when passholder events occur so this will be our first. My fear is that my time slot will be cancelled due to mechanical failure as so often happens with the new attractions. That would be a bummer. :sad1:

Almost forgot--I just received the email with attachments--the tickets for the event although I did print the confirmation too.

See you there! I'm booked for the same time slot that day. I hadn't thought about the potential for mechanical failure when booking the last slot of the day, though. Fingers crossed for a smooth preview!

Slot won't matter. We've arrived to 7DMT and FEA at rope drop to non-operating. Just keep all your fingers crossed. :shamrock:

Does anyone know how it'll work that day? Will we have to meet somewhere and they'll walk us in? I'm curious how many people will be allowed in for each time.

yeah, wdwnt had a list of different urls to get to the event.. the one wdwinfo posted seemed to be from email and was to the disneyparks.com website which I can't see a way to login on. I used the ones that went to the disneyworld.go.com whatever url and that saw I was a passholder and let me in..

I suspect anyone that upgraded on property, is not fully setup as a passholder in all the systems. I've been chasing this down lately and I can confirm ticket booths and guest relations can only see what you see in MDE yourself, but calling or email guest services and they seem to be able to get another passholder group involved..

The email says you will get an additional email by your date with details on check in.

When we did the Epcot concert AP seats, we had to report to a certain location in park to check in and then they gave us tickets. It might be like that. I can't imagine them having a cluster right there at the entrance full of folks trying to enter with and without tickets.

I heard about it this morning on another site, and registered right away. I got my confirmation email the same time as the AP email about the offer. Looking forward to the preview and my first RoL!

The Disney site was acting kind of squirrely though. When I clicked on the box next to the time it looked like it didn't register, but the confirmation has the correct time. I counted myself lucky that the website didn't crash completely like it often does.

most likely someone with a list at the entrance by tiffins. the fine print did say first come first serve while capacity lasts so this might be over booked as well and not sure if they are going to push peopel out after 2 hours.

I still dont' have a confirmation email but I do have the confirmation order print out :)

Good point! I was just thinking of the initial issues with multiple showings of ROL... :scared: I know that was a unique problem, though. Crossing all my fingers!

That language carried over from the fine print that was shown prior to the confirmation - copied below. I really think it is speaking to the availability to register being on first-come, first-served basis. I cannot imagine them letting some people stay in all afternoon and not admitting people with confirmed registration for a later time slot.

I'm really pissed that I have a platinum passport and never received an email. I'm even more pissed at Disney's attitude of not caring one whit when I called to complain. The passholder number was useless; I just got a reservation clerk who put me on indefinite hold. I called back to Guest Services and after talking to one cm for a while I asked to speak to a manager. When I got connected, "Ricky" refused to give me his full name, and when pressed, he admitted he was not really a manager. Basically the attitude was "tough luck": not our problem that we didn't send you an email, we don't care that you paid hundreds of dollars for a platinum pass, and we don't care whether you renew.

To compare to Epcot Concert AP seats we reported to a location in Innoventions to receive tickets. Those tickets were presented at concert. We could check in any time during the day so there was no clogging of check ins at the theater.

I guess we will see but I certainly don't want to see a cluster of humanity at the Tiffins area and a "loss" of control of folks entering.
