I think that no matter what HKS does or doesn't do, if he crys, if he doesn't cry or he looks "stoned", someone is going to tear him apart, because he is not grieving or acting the way anyone thinks he should. oh, i totally agree..i think he was HEAVLY medicated..and no one can tell you how to grieve..i did feel very sad for him..he did seem lost

So far, and to the best of my knowledge, Kimmie hasn't made the TV or interview circuit. There's also been talk that the people in her circle were required to sign papers agreeing not to talk. So, I don't know if she can't talk, won't talk or just hasn't been asked.

Why did Anna Nicole, if Birkhead is the baby's father, work so hard at keeping him from her? Is there some reason that she didn't want Birkhead involved as a father? Is it because of HKS? Could he have convinced her to cut Birkhead out?

This is just supposition on my part but I think that it was because she was afraid Birkhead was going to take the baby. According to Birkhead, ANS got drunk and miscarried their first child. He also has made claims (which I totally believe) that she was using drugs during her pregnancy with DannieLynn. I think she tried to deny his paternity because he was the one person that could take custody from her. There was also something regarding the lack of drug testing of pregnant women in the Bahama's which was why she chose the Bahama's specifically.

WOW - really interesting interview with ANS best friend (they're popping out of the woodwork now) on CNN Larry King tonight! Here's part of it regarding HKS:

KING: You knew it was going to happen...

HATTEN: Yes...

KING: ... meaning you knew she wasn't going to lead a full life?

HATTEN: Yes. I tried warning...

HATTEN: ... everyone. I tried warning everyone.

HATTEN: About Howard, Howard's behavior toward my friend.

KING: His behavior would affect the length of her life?

HATTEN: Definitely.

KING: How?

HATTEN: Because I have seen him -- I've witnessed Howard give her Vicodin, Valium, Vinegrin (ph), morphine, Demerol -- shall I go on? I mean it's too much for someone to take over a period of time. That's considered aggravated death, you know what I'm saying? Acclaimed effect over the years, whether he gave it to her the last second or not, it's just not acceptable.

KING: Would your guess be that the final results of the autopsy would show that?

HATTEN: I'm sure it will. That's my opinion.

KING: Why would she do -- why was he giving her that? He was supposed to care for her a great deal. What...

HATTEN: My friend became his cash cow. I witnessed her become a cash cow to him. There were -- she was the sole breadwinner and that family basically he had taken her cases on a contingency basis. Nothing was ever won. The money that he did make from the show or anything else that he handled from her, that was all from her.

Everything was his celebrity and his fame -- his money all came on her back.

KING: Would you guess that she might have been a suicide?

HATTEN: No way. She's about to get a yacht. She's always wanted to have a yacht.

Why would she go and kill herself when she's going down to buy a yacht?

I rule out suicide completely.

But if you want to say something about the daughter, why, when Dannielynn Hope is the only thing that keeps her happy, the only thing that keeps her alive, why take her away from her? Why?

If you're a true friend, you would leave her with her baby.

HATTEN: Howard took her to Florida to buy a yacht.

Can the boat not wait? I mean my friend's health and sanity is the most important thing here, in my opinion.

HATTEN: I told you things were around all the time. I would not be surprised that that was in her refrigerator, no.

KING: We have an e-mail from Karen in Sheboygan, Wisconsin: "Why, for so long, did people ignore the fact that Anna was on something? The signs were obvious. Why didn't her supposed friends confront her, get her help?"

HATTEN: We did. We did. We tried. She did go...

HATTEN: She did go in 1995 to rehab. When you have people saying please don't take this, don't take this, but you have someone going here, mamma, take it mamma, I'll take it with you, as Howard did -- you know, I've witnessed way too much of that and that is what killed my friend, in my opinion.

HATTEN: Not like -- not like he's saying. She liked him as a person that handled her affairs so that she did not have to handle them. He kept her so drugged up, she was in bed 24-7 until there was a show, give her some uppers and get her up for the show so she can make some money, you know?

She didn't care for him like that. He used to walk behind us carrying our bags, OK? He would carry our purse.

KING: Yours, too?

HATTEN: Yes, mine, too. He would answer questions when we were at a party when we were too busy to talk, OK?

OMG...I saw that whole Larry King show...but what was with HKS's sister saying she has never met this Jackie....and ANS' lawyer, he said he had never met this Jackie....

But she did seem to know everything.

I loved when Harvey Levin and the guy from E said the reason HKS is NOT taking the paternity test because he will LOSE HIS GRAVY TRAIN....lol....so true!! HKS is in this for the money. ANS is dead 36 hours and he negotiates with a prime time E network to have exclusive story to his flight to the Bahamas. The show says "we are on HKS' private jet to the Bahamas" WTH..I am so sure the show PAID FOR THE FLIGHT AND THE JET.

Just take the test HKS, we know it is Larry's baby. Just be done with it, you dork!

Also some Bahama atty was on the show saying that Anna and Howard have not paid one nickel to rent that mansion in the Bahamas....

I think they have a money situation....why would HKS sell his latest story to TV for HUGE amounts of money just 36 hours after ANS died...........

he DID look/sound really off on ET.

i'm sticking with my story of he's killing everyone off to get her money, and i'm scared to death for that little baby. she's all that stands in his way of millions of dollars. i hope he doesn't get custody. i really don't know who should get custody tho. this whole situation just sucks out loud.

Well, then all I have to say about THAT is that the sister of HKS and ANS' atty on the show tonight are LIARS....there is NO WAY in this world the both of them were NOT aware this Jackie was related to the person who is serving SEVEN years in JAIL for threats against ANS....they are lying.... through their teeth being the sister of HKS (who is an atty) and ANS's (atty)....they are not her hairdressers they are her atty's and I am so going out on a limb here when I say THEY HAVE HEARD OF JACKIE HATTEN esp in light of her bro's prison sentence!!!!!!

Thanks for the response KiKiFan, That really makes sense. I just couldn't figure out why she wouldn't want Birkhead around and would prefer HKS to be the father. If she wanted HKS as the father, I'm sure he would've been more than willing to father her child, so to come up with this idea of putting him on the birth cert. after all this controversy-well, something is definitely awry with all that.

OMG! Please let this woman rest in peace! Figure out who the father is and let this baby have a somewhat, normal, happy life. I can't believe what a circus this has become. I feel sorrier and sorrier for ANS and Dannielynn every time I read something new.

If I were the judge, I would like to put out a warning - anyone wishing to claim paternity to this child, line up for DNA tests on X date. If you are not there when the DNA is taken, you forfeit all parental rights and responsiblities. If it is one of them, place the baby with him. If it is none of them, place the baby with a normal, American family.
