Good morning Camilla. When MerryPoppins gets online, she may be able to tell you something about the ballet. I believe her daughter dances, and I know they go every now and again to see different ballets. The only things I know to tell you about in NYC is to go to Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall (the Rockettes are great), and for dinner eat in China Town. SOme people will say go to "Ground Zero", I haven't been to NYC in over 32 years, so I can't say to go there or not, I think that is a very personal decision. The Central Park Zoo is supposed to be great, and I would love to eat at Tavern on the Green. Pete recommends staying at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square.

We were thinking about most of the things you mentioned......not heard of Tavern on the Green though, or the music hall.....will look in my travel guide when i get home
We're staying on night at the Sofital hotel and the rest of the time we're staying with friends
Getting very excited about it now

Camilla ~ I grew up in NYC and still frequent it often as my family is still there. Being a native NYer I usually don't do the touristy things but I can tell you what I have heard about different places or their location if you like. Feel free to ask here, PM or e-mail.
