You guys have me ROFLMAO this morning!!!

Another school cancellation today. It doesn't look too bad out there, but we are on the southern end of our school district, and the northern parts must get hit pretty bad. I need to get in to work today to get the payroll done, so I have to find a place to take the kids for the day. It is supposed to get bad later on today again.

Steph.....i have to ask......whos that in your signature??

LK, you can bring them here. I am sure there will be another video game marathon going on later. Could you bring some soda when you come?

Morning All!

DH stayed home w/ the kids today so I could come into work. My
FIL wasn't too thrilled w/ having to come out in this weather. DS has a 2 hr delay again. LK why aren't you here yet? Bring the kids w/ you!

Gotta check out the riddle now.

edited to add: Lou...please notice we are NOT picking on 3 legged sheep or dogs today!!!!!!

It says dogs, not three legged dogs. So before I am accused of only listening to half of what is said let me point something out. Women say one thing but mean another. When men don't hear what they meant to say, then we are not paying attention. (Are you sure you're not my wife?)However, I do think there was a left handed compliment in there when I was called a whole man since I only listened half the time.

And a few other things....

Who is this guy in the forest and how did he get there by himself? Did he not ask for directions or did he leave the seat up one too many times? (Or is he just lucky?)

Since when is a guy way too young?

And finally (boy will this one be unpopular), I don't get NASCAR! Sorry just don't get it. You want real high speed driving action I'll take you on a cab ride around NYC (sorry Camilla) but this round and round stuff just doesn't make sense.

Okay, that should give you a whole day's worth of shots you can take at me! :p

When I can stop laughing so hard that the tears stop rolling down my face...I'll be happy to comment......

4 minutes to reply! That may be a new record! :p

Just remember I am here to amuse.......

PS I would have replied a few pages ago but those three flakes of snow made the commute rough this AM. I didn't want you to think I was going back on something I couldn't get past....;)

I believe it was Ted Turner who once described NASCAR as a bunch of white guys making left turns and he didn't see the attraction either.

Of course, it has added even more to his considerable wealth so he may not say that in public any more.

Then again, Ted has been known to say some pretty stupid things without caring before...

Okay, Okay....now I've composed myself...I'll do my best to reply:

Doesn't matter...he's still wrong....next question....

Since when is a guy way too young?

See previous post about men only half listening....you should know by now the saying is NEVER TOO RICH......not never too young....Yes, men can be too young....but NEVER TOO RICH

And finally (boy will this one be unpopular), I don't get NASCAR! Sorry just don't get it. You want real high speed driving action I'll take you on a cab ride around NYC (sorry Camilla) but this round and round stuff just doesn't make sense.

That's okay Lou, I don't expect that you'd understand aero-push, loose in-tight out, tight in-loose out, swaybar adjustments, or pit window.....and I hope don't expect me to understand why reasonably intelligent adults would choose to live in a city where they let people like that drive on the public roads...:)

now about those three legged sheep....or was it dogs???? and aren't three legged dogs really..............nevermind........

there, that about does it for me starting trouble today.....i've got laundry to do!!! :hyper:

Giselle is a beautiful ballet. It is however a sad story.

Giselle is a peasant girl that loves to dance. She falls in love with a prince disguised as a peasant. Giselle dies as the result of the betrayal of her lover, and she becomes a spirit. With her sister spirits, she entices men to dance to their deaths, avenging all women who have suffered from unrequited love.

The prince and his friend are drawn into the dance of the spirits. Giselle's compassion and forgiveness protects the prince from death. With the daylight, the spirits lose their powers. The dance continues until with the dawn, when Giselle must part with the prince forever. By saving his life she gives him the chance to love another.

Hope that helps.
