I shouldn't have posted. As quick as that the contractor called and had to reschedule for tomorrow due to an "emergency". At least I got to go out and get the things Pete needed for his trip to Chicago (I think) tomorrow. And I got the coolest china pumpkin for only 99 cents, todays bargain. The clerk wanted to know if I needed more as they had a bunch.

I got my package thank you Donna.

I got home from work and found the box was on my patio. In it (once I dug through all the packing peanuts) was a great basket filled with all sorts of wrapped items.
On several of the packages there was a tag to identify the gift theme

For the Angelic Bartender I got wine glass charms and scrapbook stickers
For the Angelic Scrapper I got a bunch of great stickers, punchies, border strips, etc
For the Angelic Mom I got halloween cookie cutters and fall sprinkles
and I also got candles, candle holders and candle rings.
Oh and a cute scarecrow plant stick. I hope I remembered it all.

OK, off to change before Sam gets home from school.

Now...... when I got home from work today, I had a package waiting for me too! It was exquisitly wrapped autumn exchange from LK!
Inside were bunches of great things, including a Baseball quiz book ( how did you know?), a baseball glove magnet, an official Pittsburgh Pirates rubber ducky for my bath tub ( ok, shower )
a Pittsburgh Pirates train (very cool...put it with my engineer's cap and whistle), a Pirates license plate (on my workbench wall next to the DVC license plate ) an onion pierogi
beanie (sitting atop the JBL's with sausage and cheese ), a 2005 Disney Days calender for my desk at work, a Pirates carry on bag (that's making a trip to WDW next week ) and of course, a Heinz pickle pin which no box of presents from Pittsburgh can be without. (It's a law, you know!) OH yeah! and a statue of Pops!

I thought I would stop by and say hi!
This past weekend was exhausting. I managed to reach everyone my grandfather wanted contacted. Some of my conversations actually started out a little comical because I wasn't sure if I had located the right people. The showing and funeral went ok though. Nick read his dad's "fond memory" letter because Rick had an interview and was going to be late. It was funny because he had to stop and ask "What's this word?" a couple times. He was really cute. It was a good thing that he made people laugh a little though because Rick's letter was really touching and would have made everyone cry if it was read straight through.
I will have to catch up later. Nick is coming in and I need to get dinner. Later
