That's why laptops are a wonderful thing.... lay it by your bed before you go to sleep and voila... lazy DISing :p

Cami & Lou?? :faint: ;)

LK....that's funny about you and Leah......I had to finally stop looking at the windows because I must have seen about 4 other people that I know who were doing the same thing you were! LOL! Couldnt anyone see I was trying to listen to important girl scout business? ;) :teeth:

No comments from me about any of the a**es around here! :D

Good morning everyone.

No work today so I am cleaning house and washing clothes and going to go out to lunch with MIL then grocery shop. (I am telling you, I know how to have fun.;) )

Thanks, Sarah, for posting the picture. I think you look great in the uniform.

I will try to be on bump patrol for Lou today.

I'm baa-aaack :p

Lars, I'm so glad to hear that Dylan is okay! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Gail, I'm hope your schlubling did well in the tryouts.

Mrs. AA and I had a wonderful weekend. We hosted the birthday party for her grandmother on Saturday and didn't get out of Montgomery until 7:00PM.

Fortunately, we only went to Birmingham which is 1.5 hours north and stayed in a nice (for us anyway ;) ) hotel.

Sunday was spent in the Galleria, a large mall containing the world's largest skylight. It was great to be relaxed and shop with no particular items in mind or kids in tow.

In fact, I bought some much needed brown shoes for myself, a few pair of jeans, and a heavy coat. (It's been known to get below 20 degrees in a bad winter here. :p ) Mrs. AA saw several items that she wants to "dress me" in.

I'm not a husband; I'm a project! :teeth:

Sunday evening was eating out, back to the pool and jacuzzi and a second night at the hotel.

I did pick up items for my exchange however, so it should be going out this week.

Now if Lou and Cami will haul their..umm..friends over here, maybe we can go down into the canyon.

Well, i'm back from doing the paperwork at school. Tomorrow I will officially be the LUNCHLADY.

Lars and I were talking about cool elementary school lunches. Does everyone here have "FLUFF"?

If you had a fluffer nutter sandwhich in my elementary school you could trade for anything!!!

Good morning everyone !

Good news about Dylan, Lars !

Fingers crossed for EB making the team

Looking good in the band, Sarah ! Have lots of fun !

Carol - that event next summer should be lot of fun

I'm back in NY for my weekly 3 day sentence......it's not really that bad, it's just getting to be a hassle - seems I just get home and I'm packing a bag again.....plus missing some evening activities at home I would like to take part in .......enough of that....anyone have some cheese to go with my whine :p .... back to work for me

Have a great Tuesday :wave2:

Peanutbutter/fluff sandwiches are the best! Haven't had one in years, though. DS won't eat anything with marshmallow. Not even smores. Isn't he weird?

Sandi, glad that the wedding went well and that progress was made on the house while you were away.

Love the uniform, Sarah. David's high school uniform has a cape and I like the way they look.

Glad the AAs had a good trip, too. Alan, all husbands are projects, so don't feel alone. Some are easier to work with than others, though.

Glad LK and Leah are not at the windows when I'm in a meeting. I get easily tickled and then I can't stop giggling.

I don't blame you for whining. I'd hate to be on the road that much. Allen looked at a job a couple of years ago as a consultant. He'd travel from Sunday night through Thursday afternoon every week, but wouldn't work Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I did plenty of whining, although the money would have been excellent. I just didn't see myself wanting to be a single parent and that's what it sounded like to me! I also though it would be harder to find time just for the two of us. Maybe if the kids were grown, I'd have felt different? He thought it sounded exciting, but I think it would have gotten old before long. Needless to say, he decided not to do it. Just as well - they started laying people off soon after he turned it down.

Morning All!

Lars - glad Dylan's eye wasn't serious.

Sarah - nice uniform - they have gotten better since I've been in the band.

Alan and MP - welcome back!

Steph - never had a fluffernutter sandwich. i used to like to put butter on top of the peanut butter though.

E - sorry you aren't feeling well - good time to sneak out of work early.

Gail - how is EB feeling today?

Marsha - i wish my DH would go out of town more often!

Cami - nice, er, behind!:teeth:

Sandy - don't work so hard!

Brian - wherever you are.

Donna - did you keep your hand from raising up last night?

I am at home today. My FIL called at 7:15 this morning to tell me he wasn't coming over since his dog is not doing well. The darn dog (and I love dogs) has been slowly dying for the last 6 months. On Saturday, it wouldn't get up amongst other problems. My FIL is the only one who doesn't want to put the dog to sleep. I hope the when he calls the vet today, that the vet will talk some sense into my FIL and tell him it would be the best thing for the dog. So now my DH has to take tomorrow off for me to go to work.

Let's see. My trip in a nutshell. . .

We drove to Missouri Friday morning. Got a later start than we had planned. There were some problems at check-in. They had lost our reservation. :( Getting all of that straightened out took forever. Wouldn't have mattered, but we still don't know if they charged the package to our card. Have to check into that today.

Finally got our room and rushed out to dinner. We went to IHOP because they are usually quick and it wasn't too crowded. They were slower than molasses. Finally got our food and woofed it down so we could go to Kirby's magic show. It was great! Lots of wild animals like tigers and leopards, etc. We were on the 5th row and the view was great. He called a couple of kids up to be part of the show. Very cute! And he was friendly. Signed autographs following the show. Amy loved that!

The next day Amy and I took Allen and David to a sport's bar where they could watch the OU/Texas game. We went shopping and called them frequently for score updates. Picked them up later and we headed to Silver Dollar City for the afternoon. Then we went to The Shepherd of the Hills drama that evening and picked up a pizza on the way home.

The next day we spent the whole day at Silver Dollar City in the rain. Yuck! But we still had fun. Thank goodness for ponchos! I got a big blister on my foot! Afterward, we stopped at Fuddruckers for burgers. (We used to have a Fuddruckers and we miss their hamburgers!) Then we went back to the room for a rousing game of Cranium and the girls won. (I learned I do a terrible job of pretending to be Zaza Gabor!)

Yesterday, as we checked out of the hotel, we bumped into the counselor from our elementary school. They'd been staying there all weekend too. The kids were glad to see her. Everybody sing, "Its a small world after all. . . " Then we stopped at the outlets to get David some much-needed jeans, before heading home. (He has grown again and was down to one pair of long pants for school!) We stopped at Lambert's for a huge lunch and the kids loved their "throwed rolls". I'm thinking that fellow missed his calling. He should be a baseball player. :teeth:

We drove home in the rain and I admit I napped most of the way. It was a fun trip! We're going back for a quick weekend in November, just to see the lights and a Christmas show.

Blech, was reading through and closed out the window with my reply.. don't feel quite up to redoing... but this was perfect...

I totally agree!!! Luis fights me now and then, but lately I've been lucky. Would love to see if he'd agree to a few more things.

Got work to catch up on with now. See y'all later :)

just to keep us bumped (any excuse!)

Oh, dear, who let me at the chocolate????

Okay, who taught Cami to post pictures? :p

Hey lookit, Mickey's in drag! I thought it was only Bugs Bunny that did that.

Cami, that must be your niece. I'd be glad I wasn't the one cleaning her up.

Still waiting for COmcast. They called 3 times to tell me they were coming today, but not till 3-5pm. And it is very windy and chilly. I guess it's time to find the warm socks, sweaters, and jackets.

Cami, I LOVE the wee Mickey in your signature. Alan doesn't know a Scotsman when he sees one! Very cute baby picture, too.

Missy, your trip sounded fun. That is one place I still need to see.

Well of to see if there is any more trouble to get into today.

Awww how precious Cami
(just glad I didnt' have to help clean her up ;))

Alan, you made me look twice... but nice sig pic, Cami!

Marsha, been chilly for a while here as well. My leather coat has been making regular appearances lately. Hope Comcast shows soon.
