Donna....Disney Scene It is a lot of fun. I havent played the original version, so I cant offer a comparison.
Sam doesnt realize that by playing these games (Scene It, Trivial Pursuit, etc) he is improving his reading, LOL. He is pretty capable of reading most of the cards.
Oh...I did more exchange shopping today. I think I am about done, unless I can squeeze out some time to make cards for the recepients. I'll mail at the end of the week, so hopefully I can find a few minutes between work and scout training.
I would really like to know what the plan is for our costume at TDS...I dont want to order and pay for another shirt of the costume is changing. So this means I have to come home from work every day and wash the clothes so I can wear them the next day. Then again, having another one of the denim shirts wouldnt be the end of the world, I actually like the shirts. I jut dont want to pay $25 when I am due a freebie in a couple months.

Hello everyone. My mom asked me to post this picture when I got a chance. So I'm done my homework for the night and finally got a chance, so enjoy.
This called the "truck" it is when we march around to the drum cadence, chanting cheers and doing dances. Its fun but very exhausting. I am the second person from the left, next to a guy named Dan. Our uniforms are super cool, our red and yellow capes being the coolest part.

I skimmed all the pages I missed. Most importantly, I want to wish Andrew a belated birthday. Carolyn, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Also I'm praying for SB and LK's father. Hope all goes well. Glad to hear Dylan had good news. Hope all who are under the weather get better quick. Hope I didn't forget anything. Too many pages to respond to all.
We had a wonderful time on vacation. Unfortunately, it rained on us a lot. But we managed to stay pretty dry and the cool, fall weather was lovely even if it was damp. When it rained too hard, we just played family games in our room. (I travel well prepared! In other words, I take everything but the kitchen sink!)
I can tell you more about what we did later, but tonight I just want to crawl into my warm bed and sleep. It's good to be home. See you guys tomorrow morning.

I have been in work since 8 (which considering the journey is around an hour isn't bad at all!)
So I thought I'd take this chance to catch up on the thread since I couldnt' get on the DIS last night or before I left home and I'm here before you all get
Steph - Hope you managed to find something for tea for your MIL!!
Lou - Hope everything goes ok with the teeth pulling. Every six months mine start giving me grief so I'm tempted to book myself in for the same one of these days!

Elaine - We did a lot of Shakespeare and once, because no one else would read, I had to read out both Macbeth and Macduff. I had to read out the fight / death scene between them so that was an odd experience LOL

for some reason i was absolutely shattered last night, was sound asleep by 10pm (which is 5pm the other side of the pond!!)
Lou - just for you, i'm going to post my a** off tonight, i finally have my memory card back so can download the piccies of my neices christening.......i'm warning you all now, one picture for evey 30 minutes the thread is quiet tonight!
my poor sister had her car stolen again! same car! even the police laughed this time. shes not very bothered except that it's got the wee ones car seat in it! what sort of person steals a car with a baby seat in it? luckily her other half has a van for work and they are in the process of getting my parents old car back on the road.

I've been awake since 4:30 or so. Logan has a science project we have been working on at home, and we can't get it to work right. It's driving me nuts trying to think of alternate solutions, so that's why I couldn't fall back asleep. Good thing the boss is out at work today. I forsee a nap in my future.....
