Good morning!

Lew's leaving early this A.M. too.....to go grocery shopping for his parents BEFORE he has to be at work. Gee, I wonder what my SIL is doing right now, probably sleeping. She's the one who is single...who has no kids at home....who works right down the street from her parents. I wonder what she does on her nights and weekends......drops off her cleaning (because once she wears something she gets it dry cleaned).....gets her nails done......goes clubbing? (btw, she's 54 )

Good morning all! Chilly again here today (though not as bad as yesterday) and Luis stayed home sick. Doesn't make it easy to want to come in with all that.

Star, I shouldn't laugh, but your mouse story did make me giggle. We have had 2 mice in our house since we moved. Gwen trapped both of them for us

Gail, your SIL sounds like the one mom on Wife Swap last night. They are multi-millionaires, she has three kids, doesn't work, and has three nannies and a housekeeper! Where do they find these people?

This mom spends her days shopping, spends $2,500 to $3,000 per week on clothes, hasn't cooked in 8 years, doesn't know how to run a vacuum, and maybe spends an hour a day with her kids. That's pretty pathetic.

Can someone PM me who they fired on The Apprentice? I was flicking between that and the Bachelor. Aahhh...there's another show with pathetic people, but I keep watching.

Steph - i watched the interview w/ Dale Jr. last night - i still like him, but his comments on why he can't keep a girlfriend (HE is the only one that can be in charge in a relationship)kinda got me fired up.

Lars, BB was in OM in school. It was a lot of fun. They went to States one year and won the "Ranatra Fusca" Award.

Okay there are several variations on this one but I've got to say it:

Father Pat and Father Mike were riding down the highway with Father
Pat at the wheel. Mileage was being ticked off pretty well when suddenly a little rabbit jumped up onto the highway right in front of the car.

Father Pat did everything he could to miss the little bunny, he
wrenched the wheel around, jammed on the brakes, and almost tipped the car over with his maneuvers, but to no avail....the rabbit was hit before the car could be stopped.

Both priests jumped out of the car, ran back to the rabbit to see
if there was anything that could be done, but alas, it appeared that the rabbit was gone.

Father Pat pulled a bottle out of his pocket, sprinkled a few drops
of the liquid on the rabbit, and instantly it jumped up and started waving vigorously.

Father Mike looked at Father Pat and said, "It's a miracle!" The
rabbit stood there and continued to wave at them. Since it appeared that nothing else was needed, the two priests returned to the car, and Father Pat continued down the road.

Father Mike kept looking out the back window and, for as long as he could see the rabbit, it was still standing there and waving.

When the rabbit was out of sight, Father Mike sat back and
considered the sequence of events. Finally he said, "Father Pat, just what was in that bottle?"

In response, Father Pat pulled the bottle out of his pocket once
more and handed it to Father Mike who read the label:
"Hair Restorer with Permanent Wave"

Lots of congratulations for recent post counts! I'm really lagging behind due to my recent bouts of being AWOL.

I can't believe how soon our holiday is and how quickly time is flying.... will ppl still be coming to meet us in Philly or is it too late to arrange anything now ?
