Melissa, I will ask Luis what is going on that weekend. I know it isn't OSU vs Michigan, but I want to say that he might be going to Wisconsin or Indiana that weekend... if that's the case I'd definitely have to fly... no way am I going to do a 9 hour drive solo
ETA: I did look at the schedule and he was invited to go to the Indiana vs OSU game by a friend of his... and it is away at Indiana on the 13th.

Alas, the Gaspode meet is a bit far for me, and I hate to spend money on a plane ticket when Allen is about to lose his job. I'll have to watch for the photos that are bound to surface after the get-together. Allen and I are discussing making a trip that direction one of these years. I'd like to take the kids to DC and other locations in the east. We'll have to try for a meet if we ever do. I'd love to meet all of you face to face.

I'm back from the dentist. Look Mom, no cavities! The only news was that I need to change toothpaste. Our new toothpaste is irritating my mouth and I didn't even know it. It seems I'm sensitive to whitening toothpast. Who knew? My dentist says to stick with plain old toothpaste and stay away from ones with any of the extras. Now I'm home for a bite of lunch and then I'm off to the oncologist this afternoon.

I did my shopping for the angel exchange. Now, I need to gather it all together and see if I have everything I need to include. I'll try to get it put in a box in the near future so I can send it on it's merry way.

Actually, the reality is that one is very close to the truth. I have a terrible (or maybe it is really good) way of doing many things at once... just ask the friends I talk to on the phone while at work

AHEM, I seem to recall using the words "you look hot" in a certain picture that wasn't even on this thread! How soon you all forget.... (...either that or the compliments from me are so rare that you forget....) And BTW that is what I meant about doing many things at once.....same here.

Okay Lou... I will not argue with you on this one. I honestly do remember you saying that about me with a picture. Trust me, things like that I don't forget too easily... so take that as an appreciation thing there.
But boy, are you making it hard for me to tease I will retract my last statement and say that was the closest thing to a nice thing that you have said to me about my personality

Okay Lars... you drive down to Columbus... it takes me just about 2 hours to get to your area... so if you leave by 2, you can reach my house about the time I get home. Then... I can drive us over to Pitts that night and we could arrive (probably) by about 7 or so (accounting for traffic). Do we make them drive the rest of the way for us?
