Sarah~That was a great basic explanation of OM.....I couldn't have done it better I was the one who mentioned rainy Marching practice yesterday-but we're supposed to be bright & sunny Friday evening for the Homecoming Parade & game.

I am now not only an OM coach I am also the Co-President of the OM Booster Club....ya'd think I'd learn to say NO sometimes wouldn't ya??

LK, last fall I was on my way to Band practice with my friend Jeanne and my brother. A kitten ran out in the road in front of my car, and I was unable to swerve cause I had no time to think. I also got to heartstopping thud. My friend Jeanne insisted I go back to see if the kitten was ok, but I was drum major of the band and refused to be late. I was pretty upset until my mom started cracking jokes about it. That breezy_carol is pretty heartless.

They now give out The Dead Cat of Dedication award at band, in my honor.

I liked the way things went tonight on The Apprentice. I missed the beginning, but from what I did see the decision fit.

Allen spent the evening working on our new water filtration system. It's getting close, but it's not up and running yet. Wonder if I'll have water in the kitchen tomorrow?

I'm sleepy. I think I'll get ready for bed, so that when the kids settle down I can crawl in myself. Bet I can fall asleep before my head hits the pillow.

DH was early so we went out to dinner at Abuelo's and then to find soccer cleats and sweat pants because it's supposed to get nippy this weekend....ended up buying jeans too.

I guess fall is officially here!

Steph I saw an interview that Jr did and he looked really shaken when he told the story.

Related mouse story....when the DH and I first married we lived in a rent house for a year and it being our first holiday as married folk I decided to bake cookies. I took them out of the oven and laid them on the counter to cool.... Then I heard a clicking noise and went into the kitchen to find a mouse on my counter having some cookies. I called my dad since the DH was at work but by the time he got there mouse was gone. So I wrapped the cookies up in plastic and put them on top of the fridge. Well the next day I see that there is a cookie on the counter with a bite taken out of it (a human sized bite). I called the DH at work and scolded him; only problem.....he didn't eat it!! It was that darn mouse again!! Needless to say a few nights with a trap covered in peanut butter finally won....We moved ASAP!!

LK I did that in high school, I cried and cried.

morning all, rotten day to be back at work.....wet and dull....and hubbie had to be out the house by 6 this morning so very tired, to top it off.....i was at a meeting on my last day last week and had all my notes and diary book etc with me.....guess where it all is now?? thats right....back at home in the study!!! i want to go back to bed!
