I have a friend who went this spring with her daughter and did an air/land package really affordable....I'd love to go to Paris, but everyone always says it's expensive....lol

It was a bus tour of Europe; six contries (England, Belgium, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Germany and France) in 11 days.

*sigh* it's good to be home... I had to pick up my pants that were being hemmed and along the way I decided to stop at The Loft and pick up the nice silk twin set I was in love with on Sunday. The cool thing is I got $25 off

Hi all......

back from dinner....had a nice time!
Decided to forgo dessert/cake and stop at DQ for birthday blizzards! LOL...butterfinger...YUM....my favorite!


Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the nice birthday wishes.........you all made my day a lot of fun!
(of course....that's kind of like every day...... )

I was kind of sad today because I didnt get to see my mom....she was just dianosed with shingles this week and since I haven't had chicken pox...I can't go near her......I think this is the first birthday I ever had that I didnt spend it with her and my dad.....I know she felt really bad today too, but she said we will celebrate when I get back.

so thanks again for helping to make my day a little brighter!




btw....Sue told me she would call me when she gets there and sees the castle: In Kaitlin's words: NO FAIR! LOL

It seems like everyone is going to WDW but me. I guess it has only been 4 months since we were there so I really can't complain. I am jealous though.

Sarah and her friends from camp came for dinner and showers. One is an international counselor from South Africa. Very interestring to talk to him. He has a lovely accent. They have laundry in the washer and dryer and are out to Wal-Mart for something. When the clothes are dry they will head back to camp. At least I saw her for a little bit.

Donna, glad you had a great time! I am sorry that your mom has shingles and that you have to stay away from her. Have you been tested to see if you carry the antibody for chicken pox? I've had the vaccination but my doc forgot to do the test first (there is a reason why he is retired now ) I just feel better having it though other than worrying about getting chicken pox as an adult.

Ohh... South African accent? I had a friend in middle school who was from there... adorable accent... and I am such a sucker for a man w/ an accent
