Too late Alan. We caught you flittering.

Happy napping E. We'll be here when you've caught up on your sleep. :cloud9:

I'm not crazy about traffic circles either, at least if they have many "spokes". If you aren't familiar it seems hard to tell when to get off or keep going. I once circled clear around and had to go around again. We don't have any in my neck of the woods. They are talking about putting traffic circles in my neighborhood. They are an alternative to speed bumps I guess. Anyone ever see those?

Mom has a blind date tonight with a fellow who is retired military and then a retired postal worker. Hope he doesn't go postal. I hate it when she goes out on blind dates. I wonder what kind of nut she's going out with. I know, I know. I sound like HER mother. LOL!

The nachos are done. I just need to clean up the mess. I'm off to load the dishwasher.

On holidays now for a week. Nothing major planned. Might take a day trip to one of our local casino (try to win back the money Donna lost)
Mike, I just saw your home in 91 days just a few months ago! I'm sure you will enjoy it! And enjoy your holiday :)

Nice catch Carol ;) Oh and sorry I missed y'all earlier... Luis was home and that was my only time with him tonight...

Alan flittering... that's a picutre that makes me giggle :p

Have I mentioned how good it is to be home? I love vacationing but I love coming home just as much sometimes :)

Mike.....tell my money I said :wave2: .....btw....stay away from Wheel of Fortune.........it does NOT always yield fabulous prizes and money!;) Have a good vacation....I was going to tell you on the riddle thread....but I think Steph had it covered there!:teeth:

Quiet night here.....Kids are going to bed early b/c they stayed up way too late last night.....Kevin has had several meltdowns today!

Working tomorrow....but only 8 I think......not much else going on....

Have a great weekend everyone!

Lou, I never answered you yesterday. I'm open to us starting a new thread if the group agrees to the idea. I'd also be happy to stay right where we are. I don't care where we move, as long as someone gives me the new address. :teeth:

No problem. I prefer the table games over the slots. The casinos is forcing me to go. I got a birthday card from them. One if giving a free breakfast buffet and one is giving $10 in gaming chips if I visit them during my birthday month

That makes one vote go, one vote stay and everyone else ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

I never saw your original post (That's my excuse and I am sticking with it :teeth: )

Does not matter to me if we stay or if we go to a different thread.

Actually, I said either was okay with me too. So I'm in the same boat with Mike. :boat:

People. people, I believe they have loads of political threads out there waiting for that discussion..............:o

Now about those traffic circles what are they good for anyway - accidents, near misses, and total confusion...............

Ok.....what exactly IS a traffic circle?
I dont think we have those here! LOL...unless we call them something else......

traffic.jpg

Of course to get the full effect you have to have everyone driving about 70 MPH with no one yielding.....

It's a section of road where usually 4 different directions merge into a circle and you drive around until you get to the road you want to take and grab hold of your exit buddy and go:teeth: :crazy2: Kind of like a revolving door only with cars.......

They are not for the weak of heart or new driver..............:faint:

A roundabout or traffic rotary.

Boy he's guick of course he doesn't have a ten year old interrupting him every five seconds..................MOM MOM MOM MOM:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Talk about 24/7..........................:yo-yo:

Gerri: I feel your pain! LOL!:teeth: Do your kids also walk right by him standing at the refrigerator to ask you four rooms away if you can get them a drink/snack/meal?

And I think I drove on a rotary once in Massachusetts...I remember it was not fun! Glad we dont have those here......except we just have roads that go nowhere...roads that veer off and you have no idea where you are.....Pittsburgh is not exactly on a grid! LOL....

Even better is when they call you from upstairs to come up and do something for them when he is already upstairs..........

Kids you have to love them, you do right, I mean it's the law or something:teeth:
