Not necessarily the quoted poster, but could somebody please support when and where the definition of 'honestly' changed?
LOL! I have no idea, but I am very amused by the fixation!

I am so disappointed that This is Me didn't win. I love that song and the whole soundtrack to that movie.
Can someone explain to me how one can deem something too PC yet they haven't seen it?
Hilarious. I'm aware of the difference between figuratively and literally, as well as understanding imagery, similes...Honestly, you are acting like a dog with a bone on this.
(Just kidding, in case you thought I thought that you are actually lating on the floor gnawing on a bone right now.)

When the word honestly is used, the natural and reasonable expectation is that the accompanying statement will be, well, honest.
Oh Oh. I know this one. PICK ME. Me. Me. Pick ME!!!! Meeeeeee.
They all stomped Fox News Network in the ratings.
You keep sort of randomly bringing up Fox News, so let me guess...Because Fox and Friends and Hannity said it was.

You really, REALLY don't like Fox News OR you just want to get some quick "Likes."
I personally don't watch Fox News or any other cable news networks--I think they are all pretty ridiculous--but I don't care and certainly won't judge what others choose to watch.

This phrase belongs in the other thread of over used sayings, just my opinion.Lighten up, Francis.

It's more about the ultra-conservative views of the poster he's referring to than anything else, I think.
...do I get some quick 'likes' for this?![]()
Likes infinity! Ha!It worked!! Look at all those likes. I won the likey. Now if you'll excuse me for oh about 20 seconds, I have to give my speech to all my adoring fans.
Pro like harvest tip: To improve your LQ (like quotient) you should just start asking yourself before every post " Is this good for my likes?"
Personally, I think he is having the last laugh, managing to get everyone to believe he is sooooo ultra-conservative. Maybe it is me, but his contempt for inclusion (part of the PC of the Oscars) and his animosity for some members in the LBGTQ community in other threads are head scratching for a gay man. Just the fact that he inserts some controversial uber conservative political comment to stir the pot in pretty much every single thread, no matter how mundane, makes me think this is a purposeful game. It's more about the ultra-conservative views of the poster he's referring to than anything else, I think.

Well that totally went over my head, I didn't realize you were quoting a film, sorry! I don't think it's trendy, but I hear lots of people saying it around here. I'm just speaking from personal experience- I absolute hate it when someone tells me to lighten up or chill out, just a pet peeve of mine.Good one! Feel free to head on over and list it. Although I don't think it's trendy, I almost never hear anyone use it, and I definitely wasn't trying for witty, just something from a film.
Awaiting the ratings...
Stupid to bring politics into it. Ratings down again, another 20%. When you bring one political lean into it (Don't remember anything criticizing Dems), you lose a large segment of audience that would probably otherwise tune in. Just stupid.I have never understood why actors aren’t allowed to use their voices to support one thing or another.
I know, I know, they should just shut up and act; that’s their job. Well, here you are giving an opinion on something that I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts has nothing to do with your job, so...
How many in the last year were force to resign, treated as guilty based on accusations? Lots.I totally forgot about the Kobe rape accusation.
The charges were dismissed in 2004. There was a civil suit that was settled out of court. I guess this becomes a question of whom you believe. Did the justice system work in this case and Kobe was innocent? Was he guilty anyway? Does the fact that he was just accused mean he's now considered to be an asssaulter in the eyes of the MeToo movement?
I also don't recall hearing about the Gary Oldman accusation either.
Fox creams CNN and MSNBC.Oh Oh. I know this one. PICK ME. Me. Me. Pick ME!!!! Meeeeeee.

Likes infinity! Ha!
I’m sorry about the Likes comment @Cannot_Wait_4Disney. It’s more a reflection of me. I’ve never embraced Likes. I’m not on FaceBook or any other social media that uses them. It just always seemed a little cliquish or childish to me. (Again, I know that’s just me, and not how most people view them.) Up till now, I think I’ve only Liked Moderator posts! If a post interests me, I just reply or do nothing but think about it. Cheers!
