Good morning Wish Friends!
I survived Saturday pretty well. I took dd to the rec center and walked for an hour so that was good. I did great on food all day but then came home from church starving and ended up having chips and beer for dinner

. I stayed within points but not the best choice. I had gotten in all of my veggies, milk and protein earlier so that was good. I did consciously weigh my Doritos out and count the points! I think I got a bit upset since I ran into my nuthead sister. Long story short, her synagogue shares space with my church. This has been going on since January and I have dealt with the situation by avoiding church altogether. A couple of times dh took the kids without me. Enough of that, so I went. Of course she was there looking for me, I just said hi, gave her a half hearted hug and said "well, gotta go". There have to be about a thousand or more churches in the metro area and as luck would have it, we share one building! You can run, but you can't hide. And so amazing give that she lives 65 miles away that this would happen. Gee, arent' I lucky? When July gets here, our church will be in its new location and I won't have to run into her every Saturday night. I am amazed at how clueless she is. If she had a brain in her head she would clear out of there or avoid me. But then of course she loves to confront, annoy and stir up the pot of life and basically never has any idea that people often avoid her like the plague.
Today we are seeing a movie and having lunch out. I have researched the On the Border choices on Dottie's site and have my meal planned out. I told dh I cannot even look at the menu!
I am happy to say my jeans fit much nicer now, I dont' have to even suck in. In January I couldn't get these jeans on at all. So that is something to be happy about I must say.
Diane: I have had beagles my whole life. They are very sweet, very loyal but a bit stubborn! Daisy is far and above the sweetest I have had. I think she came along to help me through this whole process of losing my mom. And my mom helped me pick her out so that makes her doubly special. I love them and think you would love having one!
Amy: Daisy is very brown. Benjamin was almost all black and white too. I love the freckled beagles, Benjamin had those too and I called them his naughty nose spots! Daisy has freckles on her two front legs and none on her nose. Given Benjamin's cantankerous attitude maybe those really were his naughty nose spots!
Stacy: I am packing today, we leave in 10 days!
Pearlieq: Thank you, I sort of like them too!
Tracy: I get more Owen Wilson Zero Point candy today, we are seeing Drillbit Taylor! Dh picked this one, he said he is tired of seeing kids movies and wants something funny. So we can haul dd off to see this rather inappopriate movie that she will no doubt enjoy!
Afternoon: Went to on the Border for Lunch and did well. Here is my food for the day:
Breakfast: skipped since I slept in and had an early lunch
Lunch: Chicken taco (5.5) side salad w/ small amount of ranch and salsa: (5) chips (4)
Snack: very small amount of popcorn and 10 Reeses Pieces: (5) thats a guestimate but probably close
Total so far: 19.5, have about ten points left.
Dinner was: Salmon with rice: 6
Snack: small bowl of cereal: 3
Total for the day: 28.5
Only got in three veggies today, not enough but better than nothing. Also only got in one half cup of milk. I did manage to get in about 80 oz of water. So I made it through a weekend without a major mishap. Given that I ate out once and saw two movies that is not half bad.
