'America's Got Talent' 2009

The kids at the end... I mean yes their story was sad. And yes they are pretty good singers, but they're not OMGAMAZING or anything. I mean, I think they're going to win just because, well, they're kids with a sad story, but I've definitely heard better. They're not bad, they're just overrated.

Flame away guys.

No flames here. I agree. Except I don't think they will win, but I think they will go pretty far. They had a lovely story and they weren't bad singers but they weren't amazing either.

Missing Jerry Springer! Does anyone know why he's not on? His decision? Anyway...show was still good. Loved all the acts mentioned so far and was really entertained by the 100 lb. newlywed that lifed her fat husband. I didn't think that was possible. Amaaaazing!

Yea, where's Jerry???? I LOVED Jerry as host, Nick sucks so far...who the heck is he anyway?:confused3

:thumbsup2 No flames from me, I don't see a Las Vegas act there.:confused3

Does anyone know the name of the song that was in the background after the last act (3 kids) sang? It was so pretty and sung by a girl/woman. I miss last year's All or nothing at all by that boy band. Anyway, if someone knows the song I would really appreciate the name.........:goodvibes

For tonights' (Wednesday) auditions, I wish they had shown more of the Robot band. The group Nick referred to as "Transformers from the hood". :lmao: They seemed to me like something along the lines of Blue Man Group as far as being oddly unique. I could see that group in Vegas. Only showed a few seconds of their audition though. :confused3

The violin girls were great at the violins... but country is not thier forte... I think it would've been best to stick in thier home language, or somethng from that region. But they picked a good song to show off thier skills.

Yeah they were one of my favorites for tonight's episode. Overall I think Tuesday had much better auditions than tonight. Nick is pretty entertaining as a host and comes up with some funny one-liners, but I wish he wouldn't comment so much DURING the actual audition.
The violin girls and the Comic (something??? forgot name) robot band were my favorites from tonight.

DH and I were actually just discussing how much we are enjoying Nick. Neither of us thought we would. We were like awwwww where's Jerry??? But, Nick has been a pleasant surprise. He's funny and charming.

He is Mariah Carey's husband and an actor, most well known for his work in Drumline.

Jerry was more sympathetic towards the contestants who bombed on stage during auditions. Nick flat out says what the audience at home is thinking. I think I'll be a good addition for the show.

Nick Cannon had his own show- Nick Cannon show on MTV and he use to be on Kenan and Kel show. Hosted Nickeloden kids choice awards etc... He's popular with the teenagers. Plus he has been in movies. Nick also recently married Mariah Carey.

I am really enjoying Nick Cannon. Thought that the illusionist was pretty darn good too.

Nick Cannon doesn't say "I thought you did a great job" to the awful people, like Jerry Springer. He says "I don't think they know they is doing bad."

*Bump.
A brand new week, which can only mean brand new A.G.T. talk. It's supposed to be a two-hour special tonight starting in about 15-min (8:00pm ET) on NBC. The first hour will probably be a repeat of last week's auditions in case anyone missed them. At 9:00pmET will be brand new auditions for this week. And away we go...

WOW...the 14 year old girl and the chicken chaser/farmer were good singers.
