It's because of where they're from. Having a hometown boy make it big on a popular TV show is a big deal in a small town. We see it season after season - the smaller the town, the bigger the homecoming. Adam's from southern California though. He has a ton of fans (both regular viewers and celebrities), but people in southern Cali aren't going to run out to see a guy on a reality show sit in a car as it drives down the street. I can guarantee if a NY contestant made it to the top 3, the city wouldn't shut down for a paradeJust because his homecoming didn't draw the entire town doesn't mean he doesn't have a ton of fans. I mean he was the only one who went to a military base, so does that mean he's the only one who supports our troops?
It's all relative, really.
That is true and I hear they screwed up because of short notice. But I would have to say that has got to be the stupidist thing I ever heard. How could anyone in the city not have known that Adam was supposed to be in the finale? Last time I looked Milwalkee and Little Rock were not really small towns. But I understand they also aren't San Diego. California is definitely in a league of their own. It still was sad. No coverage of his family either. I didn't see Danny's family much either. Wonder what was up with that?
