I think Ramiele had one of the better female voices, but absolutely no stage presence. It was time for her to go.

I'm all about the guys this season! Michael Johns is.... .

I 100% agree. When I first heard her, I figured she'd go to the top. I don't know if it was stage fright or what, but she always looked stiff and she sort of plodded along.

The guys this year though... I don't think I've ever seen a more talented group on AI!

I don't know what the heck has happened since I was online this morning but I will say the same thing to everyone on both threads, and I am dead serious about it...

If there is anymore fighting and name calling, both threads will be shut down and a new thread will NOT be allowed.

Now, can I count on you guys to keep it civil until I figure out what is going on?

You know, if we compared Kristy to some of the others from other seasons, I think we'd be pleasantly surprised. At least she stays on key. Even though I am not a country music fan, I've heard a lot worse top ten on Idol than Kristy.

I've heard MUCH worse in the Top 12 than Kristy but she's still nowhere near... good There's just been people in the past seasons who were really, really bad! Maybe she's just not my thing but I really can't stand her voice.

I agree Damo KLC is not that bad. I actually really liked her this week. I mean vaocally she is not close to DC or Carly but she is still not bad. I think Chikezie was better than Ramen Noodle and should still be on the show, but I dont vote so I cannot complain too much.

I don't think she's bad, there are just others that are WAY better!

I'm coming to grips with what someone suggested earlier... that it'll probably end up being David C, David A and Carly in the end. My beloved Brooke probably doesn't have the versatility to withstand the next five weeks.

I really don't think that Carly has a mass appeal. I do think she sings better than the rest of the girls but she just isn't that likeable.

I find her to be very likeable I actually thought she was really annoying during her audition but she's grown on me throughout the season. I love her voice and her style of singing, but I guess she doesn't have mass appeal. Some of the best musicians of all time were very low-key and simple but people watch American Idol to be blown away. Unless she somehow blows everyone away she doesn't have a chance of winning, but I think she'll do well out in the real world

Likeable probably isn't the right word as she seems very sweet. Maybe it is star quality that she is missing? I dunno but something is just missing.

Carly released an album in 2001 that sold less than 400 copies. Apparently, MCA records sunk 2 million dollars into promoting her. That was during the time that Randy Jackson was a VP at MCA.
