I made a new thread, I just want to read about AI and not all the other stuff in the other one

I was so happy that finally Ramille went home last night, I was also shocked that Brooke was in the bottom three

Me too. I thought Jason Castro would of been in the bottom 3. I just don't get his music.

I also thought if I coud vote I would of voted Dolly off last night.. Don't get me wrong I like her she is a total sweetheart but it sounded horrible. I am not sure if it was my surrond sound or what but her voice sounded very weak.

As will I. This thread was a long time coming -- we really need a less chatty, off-topic-laden AI thread.

Yes, it was clear that it was Ramiele's time to go. She was definitely out of her league. However, I was a little worried that Syesha doesn't have much support, but she did fine, staying out of the bottom three this week. However, I was really upset to see Brooke in the bottom three. That doesn't bode well for her, and I was hoping she would win it all... that just doesn't seem likely any more.

If DialIdol is to be believed (and they were correct with their predictions again this week, by the way), it is going to be a man's (or boy's) year on AI. I really, truly, don't like David A., so I could be heading towards big disappointment in the finale. I sure hope not -- I sure hope folks begin to recognize the fact that they'll listen to a David Cook or even Michael Johns (or Carly Smithson) album over and over again, while they'll just watch for David A on "specials" and the Morning Show, and won't really put his songs into their iPod playlists for years to come. I see any one of those three (David Cook, Michael Johns, Carly Smithson) as a potential Daughtry (though none of the three are as good as Chris was, quite frankly), while David A, at best, could be a Diana Degarmo.

I was also glad it was Ramiele to go home this week. She should have been gone a couple of weeks ago. It was kinda sad though, since I really thought this was her best week LOL. I was not surprised about Brooke. I really like her, but that is one of my favorite Dolly songs and she did not even come close to doing it justice. I had said exactly what Simon said, the second she finished singing. There was no emotion in her performance and it's a very emotional song.

I'm joining in over here too! It was too hard to wade through all the OT stff on the other one!
It was Ramiele's time to go. She was so sad though. Her and Brooke looked ready to cry when the 3 of them were standing together.
Did anyone else think that the outfit Ramiele was wearing made her look like a kid wearing her big brothers t-shirt? It made her look tinier than she even is!

I think it was definitely time for Ramielle to go - she wasn't good at all on Tuesday. I wonder if Kristy will be gone next week. I'm very surprised Jason wasn't in the bottom three - he just doesn't do it for me at all.

I tend to agree that a male will probably win this year. I kinda see it being DC. I like his voice but I don't care for his looks and I hated what he did with Billie Jean. Of course, as a college coed when MJ released that song, I was nutty for the original.

I think Brooke is adorable but she has no range. Syesha has a terrific voice but she's too predictable. I think Carly is a good singer and will stay in til maybe the final three.

Jason is too boring for me. DA is too sweet.

I see KLC as being the next to go.

I'll join here too, I felt out of place in the other one. I like Jason but his voice just doesn't seem real strong. I don't mind nice quiet singing but it always seems they want people to belt out songs, which I also like in the right context.

I didn't watch last night's yet, I taped it & will watch tonight. I think one problem with Brooke is that maybe she's a little annoying. The way she keeps saying "that's alright" and all. I am curious why people don't think David Archuletta is any good. If you didn't know anything about his father supposedly being like a pushy stage dad & didn't see him licking his lips, which I think is better lately, if you just listened, would you still think he's a bad singer?

Ramiele had to go. It was inevitable. If it hadn't been Dolly week, then it would've been Kristy Lee. I think she'll have her turn next week.

If David Cook can make "Little Sparrow" sound sexy then the man is a musical genius. I love his hair now, and he really is a funny guy witha terrific personality.

I think they got the bottom three right last night (for a change). Kristy will be next, then Brook. I like Brook but she needs to break out of her safe mode and let loose. She's too predictable.
As far as Jason, he's a cutie!

I got slammed for telling how I felt about that "official" thread having so much off-topic chatter going on, so this is going to be great to have a thread devoted just for Idol chatting!!

I was very happy to see Ramiele go home last night, I wanted her to go home a couple of weeks ago. I hated seeing Chikezie go before her!! I was sad to see Brooke in the bottom 3 though, I never thought she would win the competition but I don't want to see her go home yet.

And I know not many of you like Kristy Lee, but I have always liked her and I think she has improved since she started so I'm glad to see her still there. I feel sorry for her being in the bottom 3 all the time.

I still love David Cook and Michael Johns , it's hard for me to choose which one of the two I want to win. Either one, I'd be happy!

I really like Brooke. She may not be the best singer but she is such a sweet person. I also like Carly and David Cook. I think David will win. Kristy just needs to go. She should have left weeks ago in my opinion. I do not like her attitude. Jason is just not good. I wish I could say he was cute but I can't.

I was happy to see Ramiele go. After 3 weeks of losing my favorites, this was way over due.

Does anyone know how tall Ramiele is? I knew she was short but she is REALLY short!

I see the two Davids and Carly as the top 3. Anyway, loved last night's show because of the 2 minute blurb on my all time favorite Idol.

Count me in as glad Ramiele went home as well. It definitely was her time, though I would have been happy if Kristy went as well. Maybe one time there could be a double elimination

If Kristy then Sayesha (I think her voice is fine....but she is so boring) go in the the next two weeks the show will IMHO have the best top six ever.

I'm so confused. I love Brooke. I thought she did a great job, and the reason she doesn't break out of her niche is because that is her niche. That is where she is going to succeed. As I was listening to her the other night I thought, "I want Brooke to win". Then David C came on and I thought, "man, he is amazing, he's gonna take it all". Then David A, who I was starting to lose my enthusiasm for, and he absolutely blew me away, so to speak in Chris Mathews terms, David A gave me shivers up my leg. I thought he sang his song beautifully, and it's actually the first AI song I've bought this year from ITunes. Something about Carly bothers me. She also has a beautiful voice, but I don't find it distinguishable from other top female artists out there. Michael Johns never did it for me, until this past Tuesday. All I can say is WOW!!!

I miss Chikezie, I think he is so sweet, and I did like his style of singing alot. Very soothing. Jason C's voice puts me to sleep. I haven't liked Ramiele since her weeping over her diva buddy going home; while she did sound great on Tuesday, I can't stand looking at her and her weird outfits and immature facial expressions. Contrary to many other's opinions, I find Kristy Lee to be a very good country singer, which I have to admit, I am partial to. She by no means deserves to win, but I don't think she deserves the bad rap she gets every week on discussion boards. Syesha is pretty, has a pretty voice, but again, nothing special about her. I want to turn on the radio and say, "oh listen, there's Syesha, but I doubt I would recognize her, which is what Simon is always trying to get through their heads!

Did I miss anyone? This thread looks like it is going to be fun. Thanks for starting a new one!!
