What did you think of Todrick's performance? I like that he was brave and creative enough to do that.

I liked it, it was different and unique. It was brave. It ticks me off they say you changed it to much or your not original enough

This has to be the worst season I have watched. I can't believe this was the best they could come up with? Horrible. The girls may have beem a tiny bit better but that is not saying much. I think this may be the last season of Idol for me. Tonight as well as last night I could have fallen asleep and missed nothing.

Since I just started watching, I got to see Casey and Andrew. I thought they were the top contenders for the guys and even they were so so. I'm afraid to watch the rest after all the comments I've seen! It seems like it was just as bad if not worse than last night.

After Adam last season, there's just no one that can live up to him. It seems like this is gonna be another crappy season like season 3.

I'm with ya there. I love David Cook as well but his album just does not compare to Adam's. I'm hoping DC's next one is an improvement.



And here I said I was gonna watch the Olympics and DVR Idol. You guys are just too much fun!

I like his voice!! I like that kind of bluesy soulful voice, I'd like him if he was ugly....

I agree! No matter how bad this season might be, I'll still be watching because I love coming here to discuss it and hear what everyone else has to say.

Looks like Vote for the Worst is putting up Tim Urban. I would like him to stay, most of the other guys are forgettable.

Again I was kind of underwhelmed tonight...what is going on?! I really wanted to like Tim Urban but yeah, he could not do those falsettos at all. And I totally agree with Simon too about being disappointed in Andrew. I definitely remember his Straight Up performance.

I really like Lee-he sort of reminds me of David Cook. Hope he makes it to the Top 12.

Of the guys, my favorites are Lee, Casey, Aaron, and Andrew. But none of them were amazing.

Oh, and a random comment, I thought it was funny how pretty much all of the guys were from Illinois or Texas. There must've been 2/3 of them from those 2 states! LOL.

i blame David Cook for spoiling me with this show. now everything is not up to par and i keep going "I WANT TO SEE SOMEONE ROCK OUT AGAIN!" and it's not happening......

I just keep telling myself how much I did not like David Cook at the beginning....so maybe there is still hope.

That said, I got to hear DC on the radio driving over to the mall.

um that's pretty unfair. Most men don't take all that much time off work when women first have kids. She is away from him for x amount of time, much like, um. military men who may be gone even longer. As husband and wife I am sure they discussed this prior.

I was a "single" mom for the first 2 months after my first. My husband was working major OT...one stretch he worked 14 days straight. He would come home, kiss me and the baby, eat and then fall asleep. I'm lucky she was born right before the 4th of July so he had an extra day off of work.

well, he has Bucky's hair...but that is all I see.

Casey James...."Heaven". Smart...a guitar and a stool. I think my underwear just fell off. Holy hot! Even Dh said "better than Bryan Adams". This guy knows who he is as a musician and can deliver. I'd listen to him all day. Sounds like a young Bob Segar. HAWT!!



And that's all I have to say about that!

Best line of the night

i just think that the whole using the "i have a baby at home" story is so overused and annoying now. i don't care about their home lives, i vote because i like the songs and personalities.

he waited until his father(whom i only figured out who he was after i explained what the guy looked like to a friend) left the VIP area for a few minutes and he went up to the bar, grabbed a drink and downed it really quick. the only reason i even noticed is because my table was the only one facing the bar.

So much for their pure holy roller image.

I'm still undecided on his voice and his looks don't do all that much for me.

I'm not voting for anyone just yet...no one is wowing me tonight either. I hope all the nerves are out of their systems and next week we see major improvements....it can't get worse....can it?????

I really only liked Casey...and BTW I don't think he's all that good looking.
