He snapped? Maybe he thought the question was extremely funny and laughingly said it wasn't relevant. I'm not going to judge someone's character in a written interview where I have no idea of what sentence came before or after or what the tone was. All, I know, is that from the LIVE interviews that I saw, where I can judge what was said, he came off as the same type of guy I had seen all show.

Exactly - I actually watched this interview and it didn't come off as arrogant at all. He was smiling and laughing through the whole thing. From the DIS, we all know how the written word can be misconstrued by reading it and not hearing the tone of voice.

THIS is why I am so thrilled to see Katie Couric leaving "Today". She interviewed Chris about an hour ago or so, and she was clueless and rude.

She said to him "I really haven't been into the show this year." I don't give a rat's patoot about YOUR opinion Katie, just ask the guy your questions and try to PRETEND your interested in him or his answers.

She was dismissive and eventually cut him off in mid-answer becasue time was up.

GOD, I dislike her.

I won't be able to see tonight - taping it but by the time I watch on Sun or Mon the voting will be done....I am going to toss some votes to Elliot and Taylor though based on their performances from the season- and my sister will as well!

I'm not a big Springsteen fan but I watched the his video of the song Clive picked for Taylor on Graycharles.com - Taylor and Bruce do have similar dancing styles! I swear I thought Bruce was breaking out into the Carlton there at one point!

You know, I think the reason I don't like that song is that the dancing in the video has haunted all my days since my teen years. I didn't even watch the video on GrayCharles because I can't even stomach the thought of Taylor imitating that. I swear if he does that awful armswing thing that Bruce does I will have to walk away.

Actually what's annoyed me is one person who keeps whining about Chris but saying the exact same thing in every post like we didn't notice 3 pages ago she said the same thing.

Well, let's see, Simon was talking about everyone. He was actually pretty nice about Paula, but he was really bashing Ryan. And then, surprise surprise, in walks in Ryan. Pretty funny. I don't know if it was staged, but Simon seemed surprised. Ryan seems so serious and like he was trying too hard to be good humored about everything. Simon kept kind of shaking him and laughing and Ryan just didn't laugh a whole lot at all. I don't know...I was watching tv without my contacts in, so I may have missed some facial expressions.

Simon and Ryan stuck around for the next guest and he was real funny. A 96 year old actor - crazy guy.

I am a die-hard Chris fan. I spent the whole 2 hours voting for him last week.
I will probably still watch AI tonight, but I wont be voting. I dont really care who wins, but I still enjoy the performances. I wont be tivo-ing it like I did all the past episodes though.

The comedian remarked on the Soul Patrol. He asked-"What does the Soul Patrol actually patrol? The easy listening section of Sam Goody!!??"

I am not a Taylor fan-so I found that pretty amusing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even funnier was The Soup's rendition of Chris' departure... I don't think I EVER laughed as much as I did at that!!

I agree. Elliott is going to have trouble with "Open Arms" that is a VERY hard song to sing.

What are the other songs? Does anyone have a list of all three songs for all three of the contestants? (My computer is running slow and it's taking me forever to flip through pages.)

I was in the Regis & Kelly audience LIVE yesterday. I was in the 3rd row center right behind Jeff's family. I wore Orange Nascar colors.
Chris was amazing and very personable and funny. I was sitting right next to the two young girls from Maryland that had Chris posters. Chris talked to them during the break and even signed their posters. Chris's wife was standing on the side watching the performance and Chris introduced us to her during the commercial. It was a good show.
