I have already heard Taylor's song on the radio. The studio version, not a clip recorded from the show. It was on a major station out of NYC.

I can't remember him ever commenting on Mandisa's appearance...he's not the most devoted Idol watcher. He did mean "curvy" as a positive though, since prior to that comment he had declared Kat "hot" (the ultimate 12yo male compliment).

Very happy to see Taylor give our local news reporter the first interview! And someone screamed "War Eagle" in the background during his interview! Awesome!

I think the producers of AI should acknowledge B'ham's contribution to the show by at least holding auditions here next time. Taylor auditioned in Las Vegas and Bo & Reuben in Atlanta (I think.)

Does anyone watch "Idol Tonight" on DirecTV? Kimberley Caldwell and that other chick that hosts are SO GOD AWFUL that I cannot even watch anymore!!! Do they have to SCREAM, first of all??? I know there's a crowd behind them but then let the producers turn up the mics or something so they don't have to SCREAM into them! And their hair...come on!!! I can't look away from it, it's like roadkill. ROFL! I can't turn away, and that makes me miss what they're actually saying, which is totally horrid anyway.

Does anyone actually LIKE this show??? Those are the two most annoying girls on this earth to me.

I know of several DISers who have been to the concerts! I go Thursday!! Can't wait!!

I saw it on July 9th in Hartford, CT. We had a great time, they did sing alot of songs from the '70's, so my DD(14) didn't enjoy it as much as my friend and I did.

I went on July 16 in Uniondale, NY. It was wonderful. I think the best performances came from Taylor and Ace. Yes, Ace. I am not usually a fan, but he was entertaining. Also, Kevin Covais (Chicken Little) was in the audience with family and friends. Great show!! i hope all my fellow DiSers have tickets!
