Me, neither ... but I can bet you don't know ONE song by Donnie McClurkin either!! :lmao:

Depends on who you're into.

Probably not.

But sometimes I know songs and have no clue who the singer is.

My review of the second half:

Jessica - Please make her stop. I officially hate her voice. Let me get this straight, it is OK for Jessica to sing with emotion but not OK for Hollie. These judge reviews make so little sense that they are an insult to the singers and the audience.

Skylar - As far as country goes, this is pretty good. I just don't like anything country since Hank Williams Sr or Patsy Cline.

Joshua - Good job. I liked that even with the runs.

Elise - I don't like this. I really don't like the song and I don't think she is singing it well.

Phillip - Not my favorite. This won't win him any votes.

Hollie - That performance was pretty good. Good song to close with.

Joshua and Hollie were my favorite for the second half. *I'm still voting for Phillip. I'm afraid he will need help after that second song.

Goodnight, all! Time to go to bed. Early to work tomorrow and my sinuses are crap right now after my allergies blew up Sunday. And I thought I got Mom's crud from sharing her drink cup late last week, before she knew she was sick.

Who? :rotfl:

Like when Mom brings up some artist from years ago.... :rotfl2:

Donnie is from TODAY.

young WHIPPERSNAPPER!

I've already voted 50 times for Joshua. The FB people are dissing him BAD because of the standing Os. I gotta give my guy some LOVE!

g'night everyone!! :goodvibes

I'm voting for him, Sklylar and Hollie. I'll toss a few in for Philip..just because.

I'm just now catching up...I know what it's like to loose a parent, lost my dad in 2010 and mom is fighting cancer so I know what it's like

Hugs to all who have lost their fathers or those who are suffering from cancer. I never had one, he and Mom divorced when I was a toddler.

My ex lost both his parents about a month apart between Christmas and after the new year.

so many losses for so many...:grouphug:

feel better!

I think we just need a huge :grouphug: here. So many of us have lost a parent..or are dealing with sickness. :sad1:

Good night everyone - glad I found this thread. My votes are going for Elise, Phillip and Skylar. Hollie did a good job tonight though.

Can't wait to see these losers butcher Queen. :rolleyes1

An opening medley? They make an adorable Glee club. But man o man are they just massacring Another One Bites the Dust :headache:. Oh gooood...now they're ruining the best stadium rock song ever . And what a crime We Are The Champions :scared:.

JESSICA: Bohemian Rhapsody...Once again she's steered into singing a song that has NO connection or relevance to a 16 year old. I am not buying this on her at all. It's vocally weak and meaningless. Fail.

SKYLAR: The Show Must Go On...an interesting choice. I like this Queen song a lot. It's dramatic. I like that she has left the country twang by the wayside. However, without the steel guitars and fiddles and her countryfried ways it really shows how meh she is as a singer. Props for going out of the comfort zone. :)

JOSHUA: Crazy Little Thing Called Love...Predictable and irrelevant as usual for Josh. He looks and sounds like a Vegas act. :groom:

ELISE: I Want it All...I like this song on her. She really needs to be fronting a classic rock type band. This suits her well. Good job. :thumbsup2

PHILLIP: Fat Bottomed Girls...I LOVE this song. It makes me smile. He looks a bit like any minute he's going to have a coronary though. I think we all knew he had to choose this song. It's okay...FUN as all get out...but just okay. :lmao:

HOLLIE: Save me...predictable and boring. :snooty:

JESSICA: Dance With My Father...She's singing about when she was a child..SHE IS A CHILD! I find this annoying actually. This is clear pandering, meant to get her likely flagging votes up as they tug at the sympathetic vote. They couldn't pimp this kid harder if they were wearing a gold sharkskin suit and changed the show's name to HuggyBear Idol. :crazy2:

SKYLAR: Look, Reba's back! This is just meh again. She really only sings well when she's shouting. :coffee:

JOSHUA: This is pretty, but irrelevant again. At least it feels a little more contemporary and less screamy. Probably one of the cooler things he's done. I call it a win. :thumbsup2

ELISE: This is too nasally for me. I liked her first song better. This isn't relevant either. Kind of off-key and just weird. :confused3

PHILLIP: Hmm. What a strange song. And why is Rachel Dratch on fiddle? I don't know how to feel about this.

HOLLIE: Didn't somebody already sing this song this season?? Well at least it's a song that fits her, finally! This really was a good moment for her. Well done. :woohoo:
