I agree. That was the most personality I've seen from him. He does seem like the little brother of the group. MJ was funny with his comment about getting Archie on the tour. I liked how Amanda tried to cut one of Jason's dreads to sell on Ebay.

OK, I'm back. The kids went to sleep fast. I guess they were tired.

Anyway.... about my cousin's wreck.....
She and her DH and baby (DD) were going on vacation. They were driving in Alabama when the tire blew on their truck. My cousin was NOT wearing a seat belt confused3 said she had just taken it off to take a nap?!?!?!? ). The truck flipped, and she was thrown out. A witness said she flipped in the air a few times, hit hard, and the truck landed right beside her. When he got to her she could talk but not move. She started screaming for her baby. He found her in the truck, legs sticking out the window, still in the baby seat, covered in blood. It ended up being the dad's blood, but they didn't know that at the time. Anyway, the dad was taken to the Alabama hospital, and my cousin and the baby were air-lifted to a hospital in Florida. It happened sometime yesterday, but she wasn't able to call until today.

Her DH has lots of facial stitches, but I otherwise OK. The WONDERFUL nurses in the hospital where they took him were amazing. When he was released today they drove him to the other hospital in Florida!!!!!

My cousin and the baby were released late today. They are all fine! They are in a hotel waiting for my aunt to drive down and bring them home.

OMGosh! I always wear my seatbelt...even if I'm sleeping in the car! How horrible! It's amazing what a tire blowout can cause. I am glad they are all alive and the nurses treated them so well! Is your cousin's DH still in the hospital?

I was watching Idol Extra and he dresses MUCH better now than he did then. His facial hair is better, his regular hair is better. He really did improve, and not just with his music.

I thought his hair was hideous then too! As for alot of people, I think I noticed him the most when he sang Hello. I liked his voice before then, but those looks into the camera.... He was definitely my favorite after that! I showed DH that video on youtube and he liked him too and started watching with me from then on.

I noticed him around then, too. I honestly think that if we saw him walking down the street, most of us would not bat an eye. ( I mean, BEFORE he was on AI) But because he's famous now, has a great voice, is SO nice with a great personality and so much charisma (and like TrueEeyore said, he has sharpened up his look)....we DEFINITELY notice him now!

I liked his voice from the start, but at the beginning I was pushing more for Luke. Then Luke sang the Wham song and I no longer was a fan. I was over the top for Cook when he sang "Hello", though it was hard to get over the hair. The stylists did a great job with him.

So you understood what I was talking about?? Haha. Awesome. I think you and Quest are the only ones.

I fell in love during the audition, but I've also stalked Bon Jovi in the past..... The funny thing is, I didn't remember his name at first. I just called him the guy with hair like Cam's. (Cam is my DS6. Poor boy is NOT going to have great hair. )

When Ryan said that he would be singing Hello, I was like Nooooooooooo! I used to hate that song. I can remember that they couldn't get the guitar to work, and I thought "Good! Maybe I wont have to listen to that stupid song." Then he started singing and..... I remembered more than his name.

I'm probably the only person that liked Lionel Ritchie's (sp?) version of Hello before all of this...haha.

God-I just love David Cook

If he isnt the perfect man-I dont know what is.

He is articulate
He is funny
He is a sweet big brother type
He has a beautiful smile
He is humble yet extremely talented
He has a happy trail that I would love to take a stroll on...
and he is an AWESOME singer.

I truly believe he was born to be a star. He just has "IT"!

I thought he was terrific on Leno last night. He is a such a great representative for American Idol. I just couldnt see David A. doing all these talk shows when his vocabulary is mostly "Geeh and Gosh".

I am 40 so I guess I am definately a "COUGAR FOR COOK!!"

I just turned 27...so I'm not really a "cougar"...although I am older than him! haha. I do fall into the housewife category though.

Did anyone see Cook on American Idol Extra yesterday?
He was talking about the harshest criticism he got from Simon was after Week 2 when Simon said he had no charisma. He said that made him take a closer look at himself and his past relationships he has had. Whatever Simon said really must have made him come out of his shell because for sure that man has charisma. When he said "past relationships" I cant help but feel whatever girl he was talking about must be kicking herself right about now!!

I thought that too. I also think that when I listen to some of the songs on Analog Heart that sound like they were written about exes.

OK, so here's the skinny....

I posed in my sexiest pair of lace undergarments for some promotional photography earlier this week, under the watchful "eye" of Ms. Randi Kampeter. It was entirely too much fun and I can't wait to show you the results. We just have to find a way to wash (EDIT for the Dis) fluid out of an aperture lens (that was a joke.)

Also, I know I've been teasing you constantly with this whole "solo album" business. I mean not to string you along. I'm currently looking for a "financial friend" who wants to invest in me and my music, so until then, or until the Missouri Lottery stops being a huge douche nozzle, this will be the only place to hear my stuff. I AM DETERMINED to get this album out for all of you, as well as myself. I'm extremely proud of this and I want to share it with you all. So, as a result, I promise, that SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, this album will see the light of day....
