Have you gotten any kind of response from people about coming to Disney? I was thinking (after reading another PJ) that maybe you should send out a pre-STD on your own..to let people start planning for next March. It isn't THAT far away and it is close to spring break time...Just might give you an idea of how many people will actually be able to attend and you will have a good number when you have your site visits.

Eric normally wears contacts but he just got those ( I picked them out ) So he wears them a lot!

I know it's not the swine flu but it's pretty awful whatever it is. I really like those glasses. They look very good on him you did a nice job

I like them too!! He's starting to dress differently...not with clothes that are 2X too big!!

So Eric and I are considering downgrading from Wishes to Escape. The more we think about how many people might actually go, Escape makes more sense. We have agreed that it will just be immediate family and our best man and maid of honor. I think it might work out better. Then we will have an at home reception which his parents REALLY want for their side. His grandma can't make it to Florida. We haven't 100% decided but are seriously considering it. Not much will change about the wedding just smaller

We looved our Escape wedding. We loved the small intimate feeling the Escape wedding has. You will love it if you do it

Escape is limited to 18 guest (plus the bride and groom) You are limited in ceremony location and nothing is really included. It would be ceremony then cake cutting. We would book the "reception" seperately...and it would be more of a dinner. I am actually liking the idea a bit better...I really wanted something small and intimate. Then we would have something at home...google Club 86 in Geneva

That sounds nice. The last wedding I did was a very small wedding with probably 20 people. They had the reception at a restaurant where they had their own room. Everyone sat at the same U shaped table together. It was beautiful!

And I just read they have upped the limit to 25 people for only an extra $500!! The problem is who to invite...I think it's simpler saying immediate family only...

Well at least you have the option to up the limit if you find out more people want to come than just immediate family. How many people are in your guys' immediate families? Basically...how many are on the guest list so far

That sounds lovely.

We had a huge wedding, we didn't even know 1/2 the people there because they were my Dad's business associates. While it was fun, if we had it to do over again we'd definitely have something small and intimate. The above sounds like the best of both worlds.

Ok...so I was looking up what an Escape wedding is on the Disney website. I was looking at the samples of bouquets they have. They have a calla lily one and it says in the description that it comes in lavender. Don't know if you have seen that but thought I'd throw it out there!
