Question:
I bought these big ol Buzz Lightyear stickers for my cans and they are sooooo huge, his feet get cut off!! I would be super sad to not use them, as I bought them from a website specifically for this swap. What do I do?!

Can you scan the stickers and re-size the images and them use them? Just a thought! I have just cut all the papers for the cans and packed all the stuff to do the goodies at SDV! Woohoooooo!!!

The lodge was excellent. We had booked a standard room and at checking we were upgraded to INSIDE courtyard view with bunk beds. WOOHOO!! So spoiled now. Even DH said we would have book this view next time.

Please be sure they have some bubble wrap or other protective packaging. If you slip each one into a plastic ziplic bag with a your identifying info on each bag, we will know who each one came from.
I will mail your cans back in the same boxes you sent them in. Please include a return address label and postage that covers what it took to get them to me plus extra postage in case others' goodies are heavier than the ones you sent. I will return all unused postage to you. Please mail them in enough time that they GET TO ME by October 31. I live in suburban Philadelphia area if that helps in planning how long it will take yours to get here. Please don't mail them the day before the due date and tell me they are "postal". Allow at least a week since they will be pretty hefty packages.

How to make -
"I was doing some quart cans for another swap and decided to actually write down the measurements for the paper for a quart-sized can in case it would help anybody:
I used two sheets of cardstock 6 3/4" wide by 4 5/8" high. The seams overlap a little. I used ModgePodge to adhere the paper and then coated it with another coat to seal it.
For the lid, I used my Cricut to cut a perfect 3" circle. If I had the option (but I don't), 3 1/4" might be a little better but the perfect circle is wonderful!
It looks like you can make 3 cans with two sheets of paper if you have an allover pattern." havencruiser
What to put inside -
"I agree that something small like a mini composition book or a post-it cover or maybe a small frame would work best." havencruiser

Hello all. My cans went postal this morning. ALthough they had been done for a while, vacation and school starting both got in the way of actually getting to the post office. My apology to Sharon. I forgot to include the return postage in the box so I sent it in another envelope. With my luck, the return postage will get there before the box itself. Oops.

OH OK! Thanks so just to make sure and sorry for my dumb question, we are to make one can for each person un the group right? Like Group 1 we make 9 of our character's choice, and so on, group to we make 8 etc.

I think the final answer was to make as many as you wished to get back, since the groups had grown larger than first expected. If you were making less than a whole group's worth, also send a wish list of what you hoped to get back and our wonderful hostess would do her best from there.

The wish list is you looking at the others who signed up in your group and you picking which of those theme you would like and in which order of preference.
It is not such a big deal for the groups I'm in, as any Mickey or Princess is just fine for me. However, if I was in the group that has lots of different characters, it would be a different story. I would have make enough cans so I could have them ALL!! Good thing I didn't sign up for it.

Does anyone else have any advice for how to use my gi-normous stickers? They are PERFECT, but you would lose Buzz's feet. Scanning them and resizing them would be great, but one-they would no longer be stickers and two-i am soooooo lazy, would hate to have to cut them out. LOL

Does losing his feet matter? I know, it is part of the uniform and such, but in the grand scheme? How about cutting off a bit from his helmet too? Kind of splitting the difference as it were. How about on an angle? Like he was flying? How about just having his helmet stick up a bit?

I'm certain you have already thought of all of these. I wish you lots of inspiration!
