Do you have a picture of what your working on? I participated in the LGMH project made some custom mickey head tags.

Not sure what you want to see exactly? I have so many little knick-knacks set aside for my DD while in DW. A whole diaper box full. LOL

The shirts are gorgeous - couldn't have done it without OrcaPotter and RustManFan as they designed me some beautiful stuff to use as iron-ons for my DD and I.

Let me know and I'll see what I can get pics of. I have to be sneaky, cause nearly everything is a "pixie-dust" surprise I am saving for DD while in DW.

ah, yes. Mr. S. had us all wringing our hands about that a few months ago. Some of us were actually excited about the possibility of a Poly DVC ... So far nothing much has come of any of it though. He keeps hinting that there will be more news coming closer to 2013, but some of us were chatting and can't imagine that they would shut the whole resort down, but then again more than once TPTB haven't really followed what most of us would call conventional logic!

BTW, Carl, any plans for a live feed on your next trip?!

Another bothersome question..

Since we are staying at BLT but paying cash.. Is the Internet free. I know it is free for DVC members.

It's free wifi for everyone staying at any Walt Disney World Resort.

The news of all the WDW Resort guests getting free wifi was announced a couple of months ago.

Hello! I as a DisDad of 3 teen monsters find the poly is really a great choice for us. The rooms are large. The theme is magical and the pool is perfect for older kids. Oh and did I mention Captain Cooks 24 hour yummyness? The rooms are large enough for my DD17 DS15 and DD14. Don't stress yourself about the room choice.

When are you going? Maybe we could arrange a dismeet/teen meet

It will be me, DH, DD 17, DD's friend 17, and DS 15 We are so looking forward to this trip! We've been to WDW many times, but this will be our first time at a MK area resort. It looks so beautiful there and we just can't wait Thanks again for taking the time to point us in the right direction

When we were there in October the free wireless worked fine with our laptop (but I was mainly just checking email etc), but my sister & BreezysMom both said that it didn't work well with their iPhones, so I don't know about streaming. (I don't know what the problem was with the phones) We'll keep our fingers crossed though. We all appreciate a little Poly fix when we can get it!

We were also there when they crossed over to the free WiFi so that may have been part of the reason. For us the WiFi worked great in the CL lounge and lobby but the room was spotty.

But again, that was like the first few days of having it so maybe they got all the bugs out by now

Carl, I do know tecdavid said he had some issues streaming the NYE fireworks. I think there is a post a around the first of the year where he explains the issues he had.

sorry to hear that.. Did you see the place where he posted the poly loop music for DL?

It's strange how the poly really is not set up for little ones like the moderate or budget resorts but even the little ones get hooked.

sad how we've got our kids all brainwashed! Sorry you're not going to be seeing the Poly soon, but I see from your ticker there's a DL trip in the near future. That's exciting!

just returned last night from another great vacation at the Poly.We were so lucky with the weather Sunday thru Thursday were 79 just perfect Friday was cooler but great for park hopping and walking ,we went swimming twice very nice.Poly is the same every visit PERFECT!! No work on the sand or pools.The staff is very accommodating and will go out of their way to help you regardless if you are concierge or regular longhouse .Can't wait to plan another trip in the near future P.S.we had a bounce back offer in our room 35% off a future visit!
