Every few pages I come across the "I had a horrible time at Poly" or "I am so disappointed at Poly", etc., etc........

I used to get my panties in a bunch (can I say that?) when people would bash Poly, thinking I needed to somehow "defend my resort"!!!

Now I'm like, go ahead, hate on Poly, because one less person who wants to stay there means more room for the rest of us who LOVE LOVE LOVE it there!

I'm never one that outright defends but I certainly think the same thing as you... To each their own and by all means stay elsewhere, just means it's less crowded for me! I also get the same way when people want to be convinced to go on certain rides or certain parks... nope, wont find me trying to convince anyone of anything, I would rather everyone else stay away from where we want to be!

But I think they check keys when the crowd levels are expectedly high. It seems pointless to do in the winter anyway! I know the pools are heated, but I went swimming in February, it was 70 degrees out, and still too chilly for me.

Not only more room (easier to get that balcony room?), but hopefully supply and demand will change and prices will go down or discounts will increase.

Please stay This thread is for Poly lovers. Not just for impending trips. Did you try Magical Vacation Travel. Sometimes they have great package rates up to 40% and they include dining now.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that kaffinito! We are staying VWL in two months but I just love the Poly and will definitely be back! And the people on this thread are so nice that I can't leave it! Hope August works out for you!

I know that this question has probably been asked, but I couldn't find the answer-so here goes:
Are the new refillable mugs available at the Poly yet? We will be there April 9th-16th and my grandchildren are hoping they will be able to get one of the new mugs. THANKS!!!!

We've been here all week. Every day there have been CMs checking room cards and issuing wrist bands.

I am glad they are doing this, when we went in July they were not checking. The Volcano pool was very crowded every day, we used the quiet pool more often. Our kids, teens, loved the deep end. I am sad to see it going. I understand why it's being changed, but we really liked the way it was.
