All Star Sports room request help

Staying in All Star Sports for the Princess race weekend. I see that the Surf's Up section seems closest to the main building. If I click that for a request on the online check in, how likely is it that I will get it?

It is the Preferred section,so you would have to pay the Preferred room rate.

That's what I thought. Ok, then what section should I try requesting? Thoughts?

DH and I stayed in the Home Run section and it was a really quick walk to the main building. It took us about 2-3 minutes to walk there, if that.

Agreed with Lillian Gracey...my last trip we stayed in the home run section and walked a back path along the parking lot crosswalk and made it to the main building within 3 minutes!

The Football buildings are super close to the main building. We always request that as it is far enough away from the main pool to not be noisy.

I would request the Touchdown Section.

Yep, Touchdown is great. You even have a quiet pool nearby, and it is a quick walk out to the busses.

I would request Touchdown. I stayed there for a night during PHM 2014 because we needed to add on a night and couldn't add at BWI. It was right next to Surf's Up but had regular rooms they were able to fulfill our request with. Clean, and very well kept up! Enjoy your trip!

I wouldn't stress the walking thing - it's actually good for you after a race to keep moving.

I would add to this that no building in ASSports is very far or much of a walk from the busses or main building/food court. Even late at night after a long day at the parks. Enjoy and have a great race!

Home Run Hotel Building 8 is a good choice when going Standard because it is close to Music and makes using the Music buses a good option when returning from a Park.

I agree I request Football ground floor for all star sports

If you do go with Touchdown!,request Room # 0133 or # 0134 or a Room close to those.

From those rooms you will literally be less than a minute from the Bus Stops!

Agree with the others. AS Sports is not really that spread out, so any building isn't really that far from the food court or bus stop. We've stayed at Home Run (standard) and Surfs Up (preferred). Home Run was a few more minutes of walking but it wasn't a big deal. Touchdown is in a great location, we are going to request that on our next visit.
