I read your post and checked my song flights (for August) they are also changed to Delta! I don't know if it makes any difference or not:confused: Maybe someone will know????

I don't know if this eases your worries or not. I happened to have my original paperwork here with me. The confirmation that I printed (from Expedia) when I booked my flights in March does show the Delta Logo and a Delta FLT#. Underneath this it says - "Operated by: Delta As Song".

I'm also booked on sand, and mine now says delta. When I went on Delta's website, I could not find the flight that I was booked on, I could only find it on Song's website.

I am pretty sure we are all on Song flights.
If not, there had still better be a TV
Thats why I booked with them- 2 y.o. and 4 y.o.
My face will not be pretty if there ain't no TV:laughing:

That first line should say Song, not Sand.

Where am I going, Orlando or Arizona?

We have 5 of us flying in June and noticed the flight change on Sunday. After a 45 minute call to Song, we still don't know many details. The Song employees are wondering, just like the rest of us, what is going on? The CSR that we spoke with couldn't find our ressies, and then could only access them on the Delta site. After several checks with her co-workers, she returned to tell me that the website is wrong and that these flights are Song, not Delta. My wife is booked on the same flights, but through her business travel agency and they contacted her yesterday to inform her that she is now flying Delta, not Song. All I know is that we lost all of our seat assignments and had to get our seats switched around(kids ages 13,6,7) to get our kids out of the exit row. We lost row 3 window seats and are now in row 13 middle and aisles. Song hinted that there may be more changes coming and to keep checking the site for changes. They were also intent upon assigning each kid a Delta FF#.

Something just doesn't look right with all of these changes.

I just checked my SONG flights. They have changed to Delta with different flight numbers. However, the flight schedule and seat assignments are the same.

I just checked my itinerary and it also says Delta, even though it's the Song site, with the Song logo. I'm going to give them a call and see what's going on.

Just called Song and they told me that there’s a coding error on the website which will be fixed. No need to worry, your flights (and mine) are on Song!

I started to get nervous when I read all the posts that followed mine so I checked my flights on the Song website. All our seat assignments, etc were the same. (phew)

I agree with the comments re: the tv. The seatback tv was one of the main motivations behind choosing Song. I can only pack so much carry on entertainment for DS (4) and DD (18mos).

:sunny:

Must be SOME coding error! These changes have been on the site for several days, it doesn't take that long to fix an error when your company name(Song) is incorrect.

I called the other day about my flight with the same type of changes, my Song flight showing Delta now. I was told that it is still a Song flight. She informed me that Song flights begin with the number 2, such as 2009. I am not sure if this is correct or not, but this is what I was told by Delta. Hope this helps.

Thanks jinxed:wave2:

I hope they are right. Im getting extra nervous:scared: with all this talk about the possibility of Delta having to file bankrupt. :crazy2:

I just entered my travel dates again on the SONG web site as if I were buying new tickets and the available flights are SONG flights but "operated by Delta Airlines".

I think we're OK but should check the Delta and Song web sites for any new news.

I hope that "beginning with 2" thing is not correct because my song flight is 1997.

Well, I guess thats close enough to 2000:laughing:

Anyway, let's keep out fingers crossed.

Lord I hope we did the right thing by picking Song over JetBlue this year!!!!!!!!

I'll check my flight information, again, tomorrow. I'm too tired now to get upset.

However when I checked it Monday it clearly said "Song operated by Delta".

I just checked my ressies and they are the same flight # and time. the only difference is the price is back down to $104.37 out of bos. Was $106.37 when I checked 2 days ago. thank goodness I purchased when in the upper $80's. the price is as hard to stay put as the flight #'s

I will have to keep checking every other day. what a waste of my time.

I just sent off an email to Song. It seems like a definite 'glitch' in their site, as now I have 2 different itineraries (booked 2 one way flights). They are on 16Feb2005, and 25Feb2005, and both are the SAME flight number. Very strange. They are listed as Delta flights, the times are the same, the seat assingments are the same, it's just the flight numbers that are throwing me for a loop.

I figure I am not flying til February, there is PLENTY of time to work this out, and I am pretty confident they will make it right, and get all of us straightened out.

I'm on hold as we "speak". Checked my information this morning and everything is fine except, just like everyone else, the Carrier is now being shown as Delta . The Home page is still saying "Song operated by Delta" but I want to just make sure it's only a system glitch as previously stated.

OK....I finally got to talk to someone. The flights are being identified as "Delta" Flights when they are Song aircrafts. And again, I was told Song is operated by Delta. Is this a permanent change??? Your guess is as good as mine.

But I did specifically ask if these were the crafts with the TV's etc., and after we both chuckled ( she totally understood) she said YES! I told her that was one of the main reasons we had chosen Song.

Let's hope this is it!!!!!!
