I have not watched the show since sometime last week..probably Friday because they had Dixie just starting to gasp from the pancakes. Sounds like the only thing I missed was Tad giving a great performance and Opal speaking a line. I actually have not cared that I missed the show. I am starting to wonder if the rumors that the show might be ending could be true. They are getting it to the point that who would care anyway? Having watched this show for over 30 years it does make me sad. But we can remember the "good old days".

So Babe is dead...but not really dead? So the idea of either Kendall or Babe going permanently is not up for debate anymore...:confused3 Darn! Ultimately this means they will both be sticking around. :sad1:

I was watching the show tonight thinking how is it that these women..Babe and her mother think it's just fine to "comfort" these men in their lives in a ...shall we say..very comfortable way?....What the heck is with that word? There is nothing between Tad and Krystal..she was just trying to "comfort" him! Same thing with Babe and Josh..she feels so badly for Josh...she "comforts" him..but she loves J.R. Is this what they are calling this now? Also with all the comforting the two of them do..you'd think there would be a box of condoms in one of their purses. It does seem they do this pretty regularly.
Babe needs to find comfort where the rest of us women do...In a pint of Hagen Daz...or a good sized box of Godvia Chocolates!:rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Or better yet, why don't these men get a massage with a "happy ending" for comfort??:lmao: :lmao:

So I guess it's true...."Babe" needs time off the show to do a movie, but she will be back - the writers had to accommodate her in the form of a storyline that makes her not quite dead. So the story will be that Josh drugs her and makes her appear to be dead to protect her from the Satin Slayer??? Is that correct??

I feel much the same way as you do. Never thought I'd say it or think it. It isn't the AMC it used to be. Get's dumber all the time. Sad when you know the history of the show and see the characters that have built it just be kicked to the curb and replaced with the likes of "Colby" There have been days when I swear I watched an hour long Clerasil commerical. I don't need to see Tad grieve AGAIN for Dixie...please. I love Tad..but we've seen this. I mean the very idea that this "killer" is picking off women..and no one seems to do anything about it ..well that's lame to begin with. Throw in Barf..and then the kids...and the whining skinny armed Kendall...spending weeks repeating herself...and you can change the channel and not miss anything. I do resent that the only time they seem to move things along is if there is a "sweeps" period. Other than that...B-O-R-I-N-G...and to bizare to even contemplate.

I wouldn't be surprised with the cancellation either. PASSIONS on NBC got the boot, it ends this summer some time.

How about if the satin slayer does get Annie and then Greenlee comes back and they live happily ever after with little Emma that has no ties to Kendall :) :) haha!

Okay..here we go again...Babe giving Josh a kiss! Immediately after she tells him there is nothing between them and she wants to make a go of things with her husband..she kisses the guy AGAIN! HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE GOING TO SEE THIS?.....OVER AND OVER..the same thing.:scared1: She is just "comforting" him I'm sure. Then we will have the same "angry" JR screaming about what a unfaithful ...you know what his wife is.. boo hoo. I am so sick of this story. :sad2:

Show, now on SOAPNET, and I don't understand this "party" they are having to trap the killer.:confused3 So, like with ALL the Security, the Killer is suppose to Kill Someone?:confused3 What a bunch of Crap!:rolleyes1

You don't understand it ...because IT MAKES NO SENSE! Who in the world has a "party" the day your mother dies!....oh excuse me..the day after. Dixie isn't cold in the ground..and they are having a party to "honor the women of Fusion"...yeah..that's normal..who wouldn't do that? Who the heck is writing this crapola?....:confused3 Kendal is used as bait to lure the killer. Oh my Lord..this is just to stupid to even watch...really.

I'm trying so hard to hang on and make some sense of this mess, a 30 year habit is hard to break!
Can someone tell me where Zach was the other day when he was trying to remember his mother's death? It looked like a basement somewhere, then I thought it was her grave/crypt. Didn't they just move into that house? Wasn't his mother in England? Did he move her crypt? Are we supposed to forget about a month ago when they made the big deal about buying the house and think it's some old family pile like Weirdwind?? And when did Kendall suddenly start resembling his mother??

I'm so confused!!!

Worst part of that is it doesn't really bother me..it doesn't make any sense...and it's boring...so I don't care either.

I don't know if "confusing" is the correct word to describe the direction of the show lately. It's just very bad writing that goes nowhere...it is the "LOST" of daytime TV. They just write anything and expect it to make sense. Every show has a different direction and there is no flow from episode to episode....Pine Valley is a "strange place".....maybe it's the next island over from the LOST crew:lmao: a wierd vortex where the stupid and unexplainable reside. If you ever visit there, don't drink the water:lmao:

I'd like the killer to take out Erica, Babe and Kendell. Then bring back Greenlee to run Fusion with Bianca and they can have a nice love triangle with her and Ryan.

Probably in the minority..but I was sick of Greenlee. Also pairing her with Ryan..and before that Leo. She is so incredibly short and they are so tall, It was painful to watch their scenes together..with the men literally bending half way over to be in the same shot.

I also just wasn't all that interested in the entire concept of the "women of Fusion" to begin with. So killing them off...then they "party"...makes you wonder who are the writers. How many celebrations have they gone to while a killer is on the loose and their friends are in funeral homes? While we all know it's a soap..and they're not going to imitate reality..and who would want that anyway..if we wanted reality we wouldn't be watching soaps to begin with. The problem is the stories actually insult your inteligence..it's not that they are "out there"..but exciting enough to hold your interests. They are just bizare, some to the point of "ewww..gross"(Josh..aka Fetus Martin..and then Zarf/Zoe.(please, rock star lands in and loves the women of PV?...he just couldn't be a regular old PV resident)..and then the stories are dragged out...endlessly changing direction to the point of boredom.

Oh...and try not to gag at almost every line reading:
Babe..........................
..............................Babe !!!!!!!!

JR hangs Krystal’s paternity secret over Babe’s head, i.e., he won’t talk about her mom that way if she’ll just hand over little A no question. Legal-like.
JR further twists the knife in Babe with on-site foreknowledge of her bussing Josh.
Babe builds herself up as a victim, saying Josh made her do it. JR doesn’t care.
Throughout this ordeal, it occurs to Babe that JR might’ve been playing her all this time to gain the advantage for custody and that love had nothing to do with it.
Babe throws Dixie in JR’s face, using what his dead mom might say about this to try and shame him into submission.
JR will not be cowed by Babe’s tricks. He cuts her to the bone by declaring that he’d have been so over the moon had the killer attacked her and spared Dixie.
Josh loses track of Babe. Her guards too. Spazzing.
Babe chases down Kendall at the casino for the real deal on JR’s original motives.
Bianca tsk-tsks Josh for his part in the downfall of Babe at JR’s hands.
The Satin Slayer disguises himself as a panhandler in need, appealing to Babe’s compassionate side.
Were it not for the passing acquaintance of Zoe, the Satin Slayer would’ve claimed one more Fusion victim.
Babe gripes about JR to Zoe.
Zoe offers to back JR into a corner, in a most unorthodox manner.
Zoe makes out with JR long enough for Babe to snap a few incriminating pictures with her cell phone. Hit send to her counsel.
Babe tries to appeal to JR’s better side to work out their differences, but he is immune.
Babe tries to shake the gnat that Josh has become.
Josh sticks to Babe like glue.
Kendall scolds Josh for not leaving Babe alone already.
Adam forewarns Krystal about JR versus Babe.
Adam and JR agree to always be honest with one another.
JR suffers a pang of conscience about what this secret of Krystal’s will do to his father.
JR readies himself to be honest with Adam about Krystal’s paternity deceit.
The Satin Slayer goes after Babe again, this time succeeding in jamming a needle in her neck.
Jenkins charges Zach’s father with the demise of Amelia.
Zach can’t embrace such a charge, knowing what he knows… That night, it was his father who kindly took care of him.
Erica can barely stifle hope at the thought of Bianca’s head turning for what appears to be a tall strapping young man.
Before going out the door, Maggie levels Bianca with the observation that Zoe’s presence blocked out any chance for a reconciliation.
Bianca fumes at Maggie for such an outlandish assertion.
Kendall proposes to Zach that they procreate.
Zach and Ryan run up against a brick wall when talking Kendall into giving Spike back.
Zach, Ryan and Tad go about rendez-vousing with the Satin Slayer.
Janet should know about psycho serial killers, being one herself. Fully medicated, calm and helpful, she dispenses a theorized profile on the Satin Slayer for Jamie and Amanda.
Janet’s latest theory involves Ethan’s mom as the Satin Slayer, with the motive of rancor against Zach.
The Satin Slayer reaches out to silence Kendall.
Annie discloses to Ryan her intention to let Emma in on this newfound family she will have with him as her real dad.
Both Annie and Kendall are fed up with middling Erica, intent on thwarting Annie from Ryan.
Erica does a double-take at Barbara Montgomery, there to see Jack.
Next week: With Babe down, the Satin Slayer aims for the last, remaining Fusion girl—Kendall… Krystal double-dares JR to blow the lid off her secret… Ryan and Annie stop pussyfooting around about their interest in each other… Tad and Zach stop bickering long enough to work together for the better

First listed on Soap Opera Central early last week, then confirmed via the Emmy org NATAS, here are the pre-nominees from AMC, as voted in and on by the cast:

Outstanding Lead Actress Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) and Alicia Minshew (Kendall)
Outstanding Lead Actor Thorsten Kaye (Zach) and Michael E. Knight (Tad)
Outstanding Supporting Actress Cady McClain (ex-Dixie) and Alexa Havins (Babe)
Outstanding Supporting Actor Jeffrey Carlson (Zarf) and Jacob Young (JR)
Outstanding Younger Actress Leven Rambin (Lily) and Eden Riegel (Bianca)
Outstanding Younger Actor Brent Weber (Sean) and Michael B. Jordan (Reggie)

Now how can they "pre-nominate" Reggie---when was he even last seen on the show?????

Zoe offers to back JR into a corner, in a most unorthodox manner.
Zoe makes out with JR long enough for Babe to snap a few incriminating pictures with her cell phone. Hit send to her counsel.

I hope this isn't what it sounds like..because for all its hype of AMC being on the cutting edge. with this Zarf/Zoe storyline..this is GROSS! I'm not interested in this kind of crapola. :sad1:
