LOL - I said something similiar to my DH today. When I saw Jamie in his lab coat with stethoscope I said, "Geez, the kid didn't even go to medical school yet, but he's pretty much a Dr. already!!!"

I guess Jamie went to the infamous Pine Valley Hospital Medical Convention and quickly came back with a medical degree or at least medical knowledge.

I love everyone's commentary about Jamie in his lab coat and with his stethoscope, yesterday, because of course DH and I were saying the exact same things! At first, we thought that Babe may have been dreaming, when she saw Jamie turn around and she realized that it was he who was checking on her son........but apparently not..........he's on his way to getting the quickie-medical-degree, like Angie did, years ago! (Let's overlook the fact that he allegedly just returned to PVU to finish his undergrad degree, last week, or something! )

I have been enjoying the scenes with Babe and JR lately, though. And the scene with Dani and Garrett was very unsettling, yesterday. (Where is Reggie???? I want him to come and save her from her evil soon-to-be-step-father!) The whole thing with Jonathan is so ridiculous (though the actor is doing a wonderful job) - I wish that they would just get through the whole brain tumor thing and let him go back to PV and live a "normal" life. Same thing with Julia - let her just go back to working at the hospital and leading a "normal" life in PV, without all this stupid mob-related drama. (Notice how they have her talking more and more about "what went wrong" in her marriage to Noah? Guaranteed, they are setting it up so that she "can" have romantic interests, once everything has calmed down, without us viewers wondering what happened to her devotion to Noah. I wonder if they will "put" her with Jonathan.....since no woman who was in PV when he was beating up Maggie would want to be with him.....and Julia didn't know him at that time........)

Ryan and his bugging-out eyes make me sick. I can't wait for him to return to PV so that Greenlee can tell him to get lost or fall off a cliff, all over again! And I wonder if Zach and Kendall are going to be intimate, soon - on the spoiler show, Kendall said that she "will" become pregnant.......but didn't specify with WHOSE baby.......maybe her own and Zach's??

I wonder if Zach's way of "stopping" Kendall from having Greenlee and Ryan's baby will be to get her pregnant himself. That'd do the trick.

I'm also annoyed with the whole Jamie-in-a-lab-coat thing. C'mon...he's got a stethascope (or however the heck you spell it!) and he's carrying what appears to be a CHART. He's obviously doing SOMETHING more than entertaining the patients with his wit.

I'm also creeped out by the Dani/Garrett scenes. They're doing a great job because it seriously makes me want to leave the room or change the channel.

I don't get how Zach is just able to materialize in Greenlee's apartment....I also don't get how he "found" that cabin in the woods. He took Di/Dixie there....how did he know Julia was gone and it would be empty??

I don't care....he can break into my house any day or kidnap me and drag me to a secluded cabin.

So, did anyone else see today's show yet? What the heck was that!?! If I had wanted to watch a talk show, I would have recorded a talk show. They are carrying this "New Beginnings" Show way too far for my taste. It almost seems like they are setting up Susan Lucci to have her own talk show. If they keep doing this, I will be tuning out. I was so bored today with the show.

I didn't care for today's show either. Didn't even finish watching it. I was thinking the same thing about then launchine Susan Lucci into her own talk show. It makes you wonder.

What the heck kind of shirt & tie was that so called fashion expert or designer or entertainment guru or whoever the heck he was wearing? My gosh, it was horrendous!

And I thought Lilly had a problem with red, well Erica had a red dress on.

Garrett, totally creeping me out I too have to switch the channel, which is a shame because he's really good looking.

I know I'm complaining a lot but oh God I hate this whole surrogate storyline. What happened to the good old days of a love triangle, cat fights and such. Umm I think I'm done. Think I'll clean something.

The previews for today made it look like more of the same. And why, when Erica was on the Regis and Kelly set, didn't they have Kelly there, now that would have made it funny. The writers must be really in a dry spell. Like a desert like dry spell. The Erica Kane show is not all that exciting.

I kind of liked the surrogate story, personally. That is until I heard that Ryan was coming back and what Greenlee will be doing. Blech. Also, do Ryan and Erin really think (and the writers want us to accept) that since Jonathan has a brain tumor he will be forgiven for his crimes? He killed one of the pillars of Pine Valley as well as his own brother and attempted to kill Greenpea. (Where is Reggie, he was funny) How can people say, "Oh it wasn't Jonny boy, but his tumor that killed these people" and have him accepted into the busom of Pine Valley society again?

I was forwarding through Erica yesterday, only to realize that is all there was. For some reason though, my DVR only recorded 20 minutes of the show. Glad to see I didnt' miss anything.

I did notice the other day that Kendall gave Erica and Erica Barbie. I am hoping that means they are finally bringing out a new one. I have the first two, and even though she is not always my favorite, I do LOVE my dolls! Especially since we share a name and I was born right before AMC went on the air.

I have the first Erica Barbie too, Erika (the one representing her entering the Crystal Ball, coming "back" to PV society after her addiction to pain killers)! As soon as I saw Kendall give Erica the doll, I turned to my DH and said "I guess that 'Shop the Soaps' will be back, soon!" - I'm sure that they will start offering that doll at the midway point of the show, very soon!

I read that some advertisers have thought that "New Beginnings" IS a real talk show and have tried to buy advertising on it! I have a feeling that they won't show us entire episodes of "New Beginnings" all the time, from here on in - they're probably just showing us the first episode. And I thought the same thing about Erica wearing red, S&KsMom - but notice how Lily knew just when to put on her sunglasses? Jack must have warned her ahead of time that Erica was going to be wearing red on her debut episode! I know that Reggie was supposed to be at a basketball game, but it seemed strange that he wouldn't be there for Erica's big premiere, along with Jack and Lily. I hope that they're not slowly phasing him out of the show.

I've been thinking the same thing about Jonathan, Sarge - will he just be forgiven for all of his very real crimes, because of his brain tumor? Probably. He will come back as a remorseful, model citizen and all will be forgotten. And I also think that it would have been funny if Kelly had been on the "Regis and Kelly" set, with Regis and Erica!

Has anyone else noticed that Erica is wearing the same clothes over and over again? Haven't we seen that red dress she wore on her premiere before? And the dress she had on in Kendalls dream, I know I've seen that one before because I didn't like it the first time. I always thought that on soaps you only had to wear the outfit once!

Brain tumor = carte blanche to do what you want......Darn it, nobody told me that before I had my surgery.

I'm going! First time ever! I'm so excited.

I planned the trip on a whim. I found out my IUI failed. I'm sitting at my desk at work thinking ahead to ultrasounds and needles. It was the day they announced the dates and I thought, "I want to go." So, I booked it.

That night, I told DH, "You need to take November 14th off." He asks why. I said, "Because we're going to Disney World that weekend and we fly back Monday morning." He said, "Oh.....OK."

I can't wait!!!
