I spend the whole hour rolling my eyes. I missed it too...did they rule out Lanie?

Well, Adam told Krystal that he had a team of detectives go to Europe to find Lainie - and they did - and she looks exactly the same as she always did and is living her life there, so Di(xie) is presumably not Lainie (.........or so they think - they could always throw in another twist and say that the person the detectives found was an actress hired to portray Lainie, and that Di(xie) is the REAL Lainie.........or something!). You know what? WHO CARES??!!!!!! Enough, already!

(In the mean time, I thought that Adam and Krystal played off each other very well, yesterday..........you never know.........maybe an Adam / Krystal pairing is in the future? THAT would be an interesting couple!)

I thought the exact same thing about Erica changing her dress before arriving on the scene with Jack, Luvwinnie! She ran home and changed so that she would have the appropriate outfit to wear to deal with potential disaster!

I also thought that Greenlee and Kendall looked nice in their "regular clothes", Erika - but I find it very strange that Greenlee would have had 3 complete wardrobe changes with her at the casino, when she was only originally planning to stay one night! She took Ryan there for their romantic evening, and was wearing a dress. She later changed into her pajamas. Fine. Then, she changed into the outfit with the yellow top, to go out and find Ryan. Now, she's changed into her current outfit............how many outfits does one need for an overnight stay?!! (In contrast to some days, when they have a particular character wearing the same dress for days at a time!) Kendall must have a few changes of clothes there, since she is married to Zach and probably has a room that she regularly uses, there - but her clothes would never fit Greenlee, since she's so much taller, so Greenlee must have brought a huge suitcase with her!

I liked the scene with Danielle, Mimi, and Garrett, yesterday. Though there is something very strange about Mimi's face..........she always looks like she is in pain, and that it's painful for her to smile, or something!

Oh great - now we have to go through several days (weeks?) of Ryan pretending that he's dead to "save Greenlee"? Give me a break. And how did he manage to jump off his bike in time to save himself?!! I wouldn't want that rescue crew looking for me, either!

I am with you, WHO CARES?? So, Ryan is going "on vacation" I guess and hopefully he will be gone the rest of the summer!? What happened with David yesterday? Is he IN the well?

I lost 15 minutes to breaking news yesterday, did someone say something that for certain confirms she is not Lanie????

She was fun when she and Tad were torturing David.

Did anyone notice Kendall and Greenlee dressed like semi normal people? Jeans?????????????? Kendall looked great in Jeans and a normal top, instead of one of her teeny sleeveless numbers that shows off how disgustingly thin she is.

Julia Barr not re-signed, wow, that would be weird. I am not a big Brooke fan, she's ok, but she's a permanent fixture, wouldn't seem right without her.

I agree! It was nice to see Kendall in some normal clothes for a change. Instead of that after 5 formal attire. Now we need to work on Simone.

I'm not surprised about Julia Barr. They never have her in any scenes. She's barely there for Jamie. I would hate to see her leave. I wish they gave Brooke more storylines.

Yes. And could the guys please switch out of the suit and tie for a minute I'd love to see people like JR, Tad and Ethan wearing something beside a three pieced suit.

Julia Barr not resigning I thought Brooke and Adam were supposed to have a hot romance coming up

I don't want to see Brooke leave, either! But she hasn't had a "front burner" storyline since the whole Maria-is-alive-while-I'm-marrying-Edmund plot. They really need to give her something substantial to do! It would be sad to see her go - especially after Bianca, Maria,...........and now (according to rumor) maybe Greenlee, too!

Ryan makes me sick.

Amanda makes me sick.

Wonderful scenes with Kendall, Simone, and Ethan, and with Kendall and Erica, today! She is doing a fantastic job!

And so is Zach - now that he's stopped using sentences that inevitably include "THE CAMBIAS CURSE" every five seconds, he is a promising character - I wonder how long he will keep Ryan's secret?

And who did Lily see in Wildwind - probably Jonathan? UGH. More "Lavery Brothers" stuff to come. I'm sort of glad that Jonathan will be reappearing, but I hope that they move past the whole "LAVERY CURSE" some time soon, too.

Or maybe.........could Lily have seen Julia? Isn't she supposed to be coming back some time soon? And wouldn't she have to hide because she is in the witness protection program?????

I have an awful feeling the "secret" is something they are gonna pull out of there lower extremities (you know what I mean). I agree I think it's Julia running around Wildwind and I'm almost afraid of her reasons for coming back. Sydney Penny is a wonderful actress let's all pray together now that they don't waste the talent.

Let's pray that they don't waste her talent............OR ruin her character, the way that they essentially ruined Maria's, when she came back! I hope that her coming back alone doesn't mean that she and Noah have split up. Has anyone heard any more about the possibility of Keith Hamilton Cobb rejoining the show?

So bored with Ryan and his constant threats to Zach and his stupid "Incredible Hulk facial expressions". I did get a bit teary at the end of yesterday's episode, though, when Greenlee thought that Ryan had come to her, realized that it was a dream, and then began crying.

I really like the actor who plays Sam - he has good rapport and chemistry with Lily - and now with Tad, too. It's nice to see Tad being a "Dad" and a mentor, again - since Jamie is all grown up now and he can't do that with him, any more! And Reggie and Dani have been doing great jobs lately, too. They should give Amanda some acting lessons (what's with Amanda's Farrah Fawcett hair style, lately?!!)

I just wanted to pop by the thread and say that I agree with you all that the show is really getting stupid. Kendall is going to surrogate for Greenlee. How stupid is that, really? Ryan is to remain hidden from Greenlee? Why did they turn Ryan into such an insipid bore now? Maybe that was Ryan wandering around Wildwind? Maybe it was Dimitri come back to look for Edmund since he couldn't make it to his own brother's FUNERAL! Maybe it was a the ghost of Hugo? Maybe it, WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have wondered how they would bring HOOLIA back. She can't be in the witness protection program or she will never be able to go out? Maybe Di/Dead/Dixie is HOOLIA with a new face, body, skintone and dialect?!?!?! With these writers lately, it could even be the long Dead Kate Martin for all we know. Maybe it is Del Hunkle. I wonder how Kendall would like it if Del came back. Weren't they married or engaged or something when Kendall (as played by Sarah Michelle Gellar) left for Florida? The show needs an interesting storyline and fast.

Has it occurred to anyone else that the woman playing Di(xie) is WAAAAY too young to be JR's mother? Assuming she was all of 20 when he was conceived, assuming he's around 23 now, she ought to be in her early 40's now. This woman is barely out of her 20's! I look unbelievably young for my 41 years, but I don't look that young! Maybe that plastic surgeon who gave her a new face did a whole lot of botox, dermabrasion and face lift while he was at it.

I have thought that on numerous occasions with different characters on the show. You are right though. Di/Dixie really doesn't look as old as she should be to be J.Rs mother. But then again, JR along with all the other 'children' in Pine Valley (and on other soaps too) has suffered from SORAS. In reality, JR should probably be around 16 or so at this time, since he first appeared in 1989. It's even worse with Sam, he should only be 10 now, if that. Reality is truly suspended on AMC and age knows no boundries.

Look at Erica, she came on the show in 1970 or so at 18 (or so they said) she was raped and conceived Kendall years before, so figure maybe 1965. Kendall should be 40 now! You think Di's plastic surgury was good, do you remember when Janet got plastic surgury IN PRISON" as part of a program for rehabilitation and returned to show?

I am with both of you on this one too. SHE is WAY too YOUNG to be JR's Mommie! I asked this question a few threads back--did David ever get thrown in the well? Did Greens save some of Ryans sperm, like, is it hiding in her freezer? Is that how Kendall becomes the Surrogate?
