Morning everyone! I watched Thurs and Fri episodes on SoapNet last night. My baby dd wanted to be awake until 12:30 anyway!

My comments---Trey~why won't anyone rat on this guy? He's a bum! I liked when Kendall hit him and then when Leo was about to Kendall yelling "go ahead, hit him, I did"!

Simone's father-ugh!!!

Maureen & Ed-Dumb - bleah

Maggie-worthless!!!!!!

Anna & Jackson-I really like them together! David being all jealous of Jackson is very entertaining.

They were running a spot on SoapNet with Maria/Maureen talking. She said she'd like to see Maria be more edgy and mean! I hope the writers are listening!!!!!

This week should be a good one, sad, but good! And it's not even sweeps month yet!

Missed too many shows-where's Trey going and why isn't he behind bars yet? Does Trey get to wear Leo's wardrobe now or will he and Jake have to fight for it?

OH Leo-stay in PV where you are appreciated! And one last shirtless scene before we say goodbye-teehee!

There was an Alicia Minshew article in my local newspaper's TV guide yesterday so thought I would share.

Alicia Minshew seems a lot more mellow than Kendall Hart, the character she plays on All My Children. And that's a good thing.

Hart plays the daughter-from-hell to Susan Lucci's Erica Kane. But Minshew and AMC fans know that her character is nearly a carbon copy of the younger Erica.

"I find (Kendall) so complex," Minshew says. "I search for reasons for what she does. Often I can remember times when I might have been so needy and insecure that I might have struck out in pain as she does. She really only allowed Ryan to see her sensitive side."

But now Ryan is gone. Cameron Mathison, who played Ryan Lavery, chose to leave the show earlier this year.

Minshew worked with Mathison during her first day on the set, and they instantly clicked. Minshew admits she cried when he left, but she had mixed feelings.

"Of course, I want him to succeed. I want him to do great things. But, inside of me, there is also a little tiny part that thinks, well, if he doesn't make it, then he can come back and be with me. But I know he needed to do this."

The other person she has worked with from the beginning is Lucci. And her relationship with Lucci is excellent.

"I truly am honored to be working with Susan," she says. "From the first day, we sat and talked and talked. After scenes where we are horrid to each other, we give each other a hug."

Minshew joined AMC only a couple of days after her screen test. "I was freaking out," she says. "The first month or so was a learning process for me. It took a while for me to ease into the part. Still, even though I have done independent films and theater, I think this is the hardest thing I have ever done, and I am still learning."

Anyone else notice the blurb at the bottom of the screen during today's show (where they usually advertise upcoming ABC shows) that said "Leo's Destiny on Thursday"? I've gotten so use to tuning that stuff out that I didn't even notice it the first time it popped up. Then when it came up again I thought, hey -- that's about Leo!!

I think we'd better get the hankies out for the rest of the week.

it was so sad to watch the scenes between leo and greenlee today...him promising that they will get on that plane, etc...do you think that greens will end up pregnant after this one last little love fest they were having today? well, assuming it actually happened anyway...i had to turn it off here at work...i think it would be very sweet if she had a baby...any rumors on that one?

Wow after all these new posts, I am anxious to get home tonight to watch today's episode... (Which is pretty rare these days..) Thanks to everyone for the welcome to the thread. Am I really the only male DISer here that watches AMC or the only one to fess up to it? Actually my wife got me hooked on this show right after we got married almost 11 years ago... She has pretty much stopped watching it due to boredom and, well, kids, but I still record it and watch it at night! LOL!

Anyway, I am kind of sorry to see Leo go. Something had to happen, after all this is AMC and Leo and Greenlee were toooooo happy (for the most part.) I agree with you all regarding Brooke. She used to be a stonger character (years ago), now the writers have turned her into this snivelling, well, loser basically. First she gets hooked up with loser Jim Whatshisname who she ended up killing, then she begs Leo to marry NuLaura and from there it gets worse. I wish they would give Brooke a back bone and have her get nasty with Edmund. That would be pretty amusing and long overdue.

In regard to the Proteus clan.. I have never seen a show that has so many major characters who have committed some pretty major crimes and are just getting away with murder, so to speak. It is strange, but again this is fiction.. so..

Does anyone really "die" on All My Children? I mean how many 'dead' people have been 'resurrected?' Mauron/Maria come to mind as the most recent, but also Tad and who can forget Dimitri's return, I am sure there are many others....

Oh SARGE-you make me feel all nostalgic for the days when I gleefully hated Laura-heehee, what a SAP! Hated her but was sory to see her go 'cause I LOVED Greens' antagonizing quips! But you're right about Brooke, it's been downhill (in recent AMC history, anyway) since her Laura days.

Yes!-Pembo-the whole day/night thing heehee-MOMO is a DROID that Doc David built! GASP!!!!

I never worry about death in PV-I think all of PV must be droids-oh or considering recent advancements in biotechnology-in addition to mysterious deaths and evil twins-Nessa had LEO then CLONED HIM!
