(Drum roll please....) 28 more Days for ME!!! Saw the show today, and looks to me like Ed-Dumb has his hopes UP again. This story is getting a little bizarre if you ask me. Maria/Maureen has NO feelings for her kids but yet she has to ACT like she is thier Mother!! WIERD if you ask me! So, HOW is she going to remember she is Maria?? As Leo fought with Vanessa at a cliff's edge, Trey overcame his vertigo and rescued Greenlee. Adam accepted Liza's offer to help him be a better father to JR. Maria saved Sam from choking. Afterward, she had a brief flash of David burying something on the beach.

WAIT TO SEE...Greenlee is unable to accept reality. David is moved by Anna's compassion.

so that's it, huh? that's how it's going to happen...how sad...i'm not looking forward to it...hopefully they will pull the "not finding the body" routine on leo so that he can come back some day...he'll come back right as greenlee accepts it and beging to move on...

I don't know about anyone else here but I wish someone would just slap Mauron, oops Maureen/Maria. I can fully understand how she would be somewhat aprehensive about this newly found family. But after living 5 years on the run knowing NOONE, wouldn't you want to at least try to get to know your own MOTHER for goodness sake? Personally, I think Maureen is acting her age.. All of about 5 years old.

And one last thing, why is Aiden always shirtless in Erica's penthouse when everyone else is fully clothed. Is it really that warm in there, or is he an exhibitionist?

i'm going to miss AMC today...i set the vcr last night to tape it, but forgot to put the tv on the right channel before i left for work this morning!! we have digital cable and i have to set the channel when i want something taped...i'm kicking myself...

and then i have to meet my dear hubby for lunch, so i'll miss even the half that i normally get to see!

so make sure that someone posts after today's show to tell me what happened!!

Belated Welcome, SgtDisney! Hi Everyone! Hope that you're all having a nice weekend! Just catching up on all of your posts!

I was a little disappointed when Maureen told Aidan that she is definitely going to try to work on getting her memory back. And I was even more disappointed when he said that he would help her! I just wanted to smack Ed-dumb when he was acting all smug and self-satisfied around Brooke. Mind you, some of it is Brooke's fault, for making a doormat out of herself around Ed-dumb. But does this guy have no heart at all??? Even though Brooke feeling sorry for herself is getting a little old, I still feel sorry for her! And what a masochist, to go to Maureen and tell her that they can work together to help get her memory back! UGH! I wish that Maria would just stay Maureen and live in the Pine Cone with Aidan!

I also thought that Maggie was annoying and purposeless, over the past few days.

At least Jake figured out the connection between Mia and Frank without it being dragged out for too long. I hope that she just confirms it, instead of denying it and dragging it out further.

I like Anna and Jack "together", exchanging quips, etc. Much better than her constant tug of war with David.

Loved Friday's scenes with Leo and Trey, then Leo, Trey, and Kendall, and then with Greenlee, too. I didn't read the most recent spoilers, but I have a very bad feeling about what's going to happen next week with Leo's departure. I'm guessing that Vanessa will go after Greenlee one last time.....and accidentally kill Leo instead. Of course, he always has the option of returning to PV with amnesia, in 5 years.......!

I guess I'm the only one who got a little teary eyed during Maureen's "conversation" in Spanish with her mother.....I know, I am a big sap!

And you all were definitely right - the "new" theme music is, in fact the "old" theme music, from the late 80's and early 90's. My friend and I found a website with old soap music on it and confirmed that this song was used for "AMC", years ago. I still insist that "GH" used it for its theme at some point too, though!

According to insiders, Sydney Penny (ex Julia Santos) is thisclose to signing a deal that would have her return to All My Children later this year.

Penny exited All My Children in November 1996 when her character was enrolled in the Witness Protection Program. Julia and on-screen husband Noah Keefer fled to live new lives in California. Julia returned briefly to Pine Valley in 1997 to attend the memorial service for her then-presumed dead sister, Maria.

In her time away from All My Children, Penny appeared on the now-defunct NBC soap Sunset Beach as well as Beverly Hills 90210. Penny has also had roles in several feature films, including 1998's The Pawn.

If Penny does return to the show, her former on-screen husband Keith Hamilton Cobb (ex Noah Keefer) is not likely to be tagging along. Cobb, whose named was bandied about earlier this year for a role as Wesley on CBS's The Young and the Restless, is currently working on the syndicated series "Andromeda." His work schedule on the science-fiction series, which tapes in Canada, makes Cobb an unlikely candidate to return.

It is unclear at this time if show execs would recast the role of Noah or if Julia would return to town without her husband by her side.
