All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

I love the sweet & salty combo as well! Those pretzel sticks are so good!!!

I love the pictures of the girls trying to pull out the sword - adorable! How shocked they would be if it worked! :)

Caught up-Seeing your pictures always remind me that I don't pay enough attention to all the details in WDW!! Gives me something to look for on next trip!
I love the preztel rods at Goofy's!! :goofy:

Loved the graduation and dance recital pictures. Those girls are growing up so fast and they are so adorable!!

I always love the parade pictures and all the shopping pictures and just random shots you take. The girls look like they are having so much fun swimming in the bowling pin pool. If we get our request we'll be by that pool this summer. I think it's my favorite at POP.

Have a great day! :)

Your trip report is keeping me in the Christmas frame of mind I need to plan our trip! ADR day is Sunday so I need to get our park plans finalized.

Those pretzel sticks sound SO GOOD right about now!!! :goodvibes

I LOVE that everyone was able to swim on NYE day!!! So fun!!!:yay:

The pictures of the girls trying to pull out the sword are just adorable! :thumbsup2

I am so glad you had a nice New Years Afternoon instead of the drama I had.
:lmao:

I surely cannot complain about an afternoon at the pool and some window shopping in DTD.

Isn't it nice to go swimming on New Year's Eve??:cloud9:

Oh those sweets do look good!!

Swimming is not a Tennessee New Year's activity, for sure. It was great! This coming year, it'll probably be like 3 degrees here, and I will be wishing I was back at the Bowling Pin Pool!

I can only do a little sweet at a time, but I can scarf down some salty stuff with the best of them! ;) Right now, my craving is for sour cream and onion potato chips. :)

I wonder how often they even let the sword come out any more, if they do at all.

There are so many, many details, aren't there? I don't know if you could notice them all in a lifetime of trips, and they are always adding new things.

Gotta love being able to swim on December 31st!

It was wonderful sitting by the pool soaking in the sun and the atmosphere. I am hoping maybe we can go back again during that week in 2013.

I don't even put up some of the most random ones. Sometimes, I question my ownself as to why in the world I took such an off the wall picture.

Hope you get your request. I did not request the only two buildings I have not stayed in - Mowgli/Baloo and Lady, but I keep hoping we will randomly get put in them eventually.

Time to make Christmas trip ADR's??? Boy, it's really going to start hurting now - knowing we don't have a Christmas trip to plan. We will have a blast in October, though, and we will get a spring break trip in 2103, unlike this year, so that'll be good enough to carry us through the winter. The down side to the spring trip is that we don't get to go together. Jill has to go with her in-laws, so I am taking a friend during Flower & Garden Festival. Going all the way from October to next summer, though, without a trip with all my girls - that makes me sad. :sad1:

I love Goofy's Candy Company!! So many sweets, so little time!! The snowman apple looks so cute! :goodvibes

I bet you could make those snowmen at home. That might have to be a food craft we try this year when we are trying to bring some Disney home for the holidays.

I can 'feel' right now how happy I was to be sitting there watching all of my bunch relaxing, as well as the girls splashing around having fun. That's why I love pictures so much!

Figures you are going this year in Oct. & we went last year. I am hoping for a 2013 Food & Wine trip.

I love the window displays in DTD. I took some pics with my phone & use those as my background on my phone.

Yes you could spend LOTS in the pin store. I went crazy on pins in Oct. but did not buy any this past trip now that I think about it. :confused3

I'm still here:rolleyes1

Busy like Jill with all the end of year activities. You are in the home stretch, Memom:banana::banana:

I'm loving the New Years pictures.

Loving reading your new years eve report! You were out in Disneyworld having an awesome time and I was sat at home, 10 days past my due date with little Poppy!!!
xxx

Yippeee!!! Shopping with Memom in DTD while eating my bagel this morning :cool1: The only thing that could make it better is if I was really there shopping. :thumbsup2

The last 2 trips I tried to take after you and take pictures of everything no matter how random. DH was sorting through all of the pics and kept asking questions like "why did you take a picture of a trash can in Fantasyland?" Sometimes they just don't understand :rolleyes1

So exciting that you are almost done with school. :yay: it would be so nice to look forward to summer break again :cloud9:

Have a great day !!!!

I love the way the sun is shining on the Christmas Shop. Great photo.

Earl of Sandwich - that is our fave when at Downtown Disney!

Hi friends! I'm back from an amazing trip!
We fell in love with POR and will stay there again!
What a pretty resort with all the magnolia trees in bloom.
It was so different from POP but we really enjoyed it.
The Royal Room was gorgeous and we loved all the little details found inside.
Our mousekeeper was great and we came home every day to a new towel animal and Lexi's toys set up in different playful ways.
One day we found them all sitting on the bed watching the Disney channel, Mickey had the remote control.
The boat ride to DTD was so lovely. We went at night so it was just perfect.
We went to POFQ for a swim in the serpent pool one afternoon and tried the begneits. Yumm!
We loved the F&G festival...the topiary's and flowers are gorgeous.
It was fun to go inside Bambi's butterfly house and see them flying around.
Loved the Tinkerbell's Winter Garden.
The Star Wars day at DHS was fun too! It was neat to watch the parade and see something different.
We really enjoyed this trip...no one got sick and it was a nice little break.
Even though it was a quick trip we did have several "firsts".
We tried Earl of Sandwich (yummy), Ghirardelli's sundaes (amazing), Contempo Cafe (good).
I went to Basin for the first time and left with some of that awesome scrub and lotion...my hands have never been softer.
We did a lot of shopping too. I indulged in bringing home several new bags.
I think we will probably do this little trip again next year.

Sorry I didn't send you any pics...I had purchased a USA travel plan for my Iphone before I left and it didn't work the whole time I was there. So now have to go insist on a refund with my service provider. I was bummed and I even missed a DISmeet because of it. :furious:

I can put up a few pics if you'd like to see them.

:cool1:CONGRATULATIONS BROOKLYNN!!! :cool1: It's very exciting to graduate from Kindergarden!

Glad to see you had a fun weekend with your family...and only a few more days of school left. :goodvibes

It was so fun seeing your pics this morning and fondly remembering myself in those places just a couple days ago.
Thanks for all those awesome pics! :thumbsup2

I guess I better get ready for work...boy did I need this morning to laze around and catch up on the DIS. ;)

Love the AoA pictures...I loved being able to see that when I was there; such a huge change from the last time!

Wonderful DTD pictures, of course. I am dying to be back there. Katie's there now and I am soooo jealous!

I should have made my Christmas trip ADR comment clearer, we are arriving the day after Thanksgiving for a week. I guess that makes it a Thanksgiving trip, but it is my chance to experience all the Christmas festivities at Disney.

Hopefully that makes a little bit more sense :confused3
