All AP holders can get DDE now-not just FL residents

Hey Chuck. I ordered the DDE today but forgot to get the confirmation number after being on hold so long. I called 7 hours ago and am still waiting for the e-mail. I know that the office is closed now but I was wondering how long I should wait before I call that phone number from "H-E-double hockey sticks" back?

I didn't get a confirmation number either, just the email. I had called first thing in the morning yesterday, in fact the CM had to ask her supervisor if it was true that non-resident AP holders were eligible. I received my email about 5pm last night. If you don't receive your email by tomorrow morning I'd call back. By the sounds of the posts today, the phone lines were pretty swamped. I don't think the DDE staff was prepared for the popularity of this new perk.

Thanks Chuck. Yet again you have the answer I need. I feel better knowing that you didn't get aconfirmation number either. Maybe they aren't giving those out. I will check online with the credit card in the am to see if the charge went through before I call that number again! Happy new year!

We are leaving for WDW tommorow. We will be purchasing APs with the DVC discount. We just found out about the DDE card. Never heard of it before now but very interested in getting it.
So heres our dilema: we purchase APS when we get there then start calling DDE. If we get through, make the purchase, will they fax us the info to CBR so we can start using it while there?
If we can use it right away it will be great, if not we may as well hold off until Dec trip

Just wanted to add - I called for the DDE card yesterday around 1 pm - still no charge to my CC, and no confirmation email. I figure they're pretty swamped there right now. I'm thinking I'll wait until late today, or tomorrow morning before I call back. Hopefully, something will show up in my email by then. We definitely want this perk before our trip in 2 weeks.

The DDE office is a VERY SMALL operation. I am sure they are swamped. Be patient.

Too funny! I just went to check my credit card statement (I ordered late Tuesday afternoon) and I recieved my confirmation while I was logging onto my bank's website!

It says my card is valid until 1/31/06 and the letter is valid until 2/28/05. Can't wait to use my discount. DH was very happy to hear the discount was available for "adult beverages"

I started calling at exactly 9:00 yesterday and was on hold just a few minutes short of an hour. I didn't get my e-mail until 7:00pm. I used my debit card and called my bank a few minutes ago. A hold has not been put on my funds yet for the amount. I called the bank, because I forgot to ask yesterday what the exact fee (including tax) was going to be and I need to subtract it from my checking account. Does anybody know?

I just got off of the phone from ordering my DDE card. (Thurs. 12:30pm) I waited about 40 minutes on hold. They are extremely busy! I was told to expect my card in about 6 weeks and a few days for the email to be sent. Hope the info helps someone who was thinking of calling again...it was a long wait, but worth it!

We are going in January for 6 nights (7ppl) and again in November for 6 nights. I am sure this will save us a bundle as we usually do PS for
dinner!

I just orderd my card as well! We do have a condo down in Florida, but stay up in NJ most of the year. I am so happy to know that I can finally get the DDE card sent up to our address up here! We have an upcoming trip at the end of this month. I'm looking forward to getting that e-mail so we can use it on the trip!
