All AP holders can get DDE now-not just FL residents

Called the voice mail number and left a message this morning. I got a call back around lunch time and explained that we were leaving to drive down at 2am tomorrow. When I got home, the email confirmation was there. I appreciated the fact that they pushed it on through knowing that we were going to be arriving tomorrow and activating our AP's. She said by the time it was processed, we would have our AP's activitated and it was no problem. I am sure they are so busy and I also appreciated them giving the number to leave a voice mail and then they just called me back. No holding on the phone.

Ordered DDE today around noon and spent more time on hold waiting for a CM (who was extremely nice & helpful) than I did waiting for the confirmation e-mail. Mentioned that we were taking a last minute trip this weekend and there was my e-mail less than 45 minutes later.

Actually this whole trip has worked like that. Called yesterday for a room at POR for 1/7-1/9 - got it (no AP or FL discount, but still)! Called today at 1pm for PS at Le Cellier on Sunday and got the exact time I wanted.

Sounds like a lottery ticket day for me!

I just tried to call and the message said they are only open until 5pm est. It gave me an email address to contact. When I tried to sent the email, it said that it was not valid. Anyone else have this problem??

I had the same problem...I read on all ears that it was open till 6:00 so I rushed home from work and got that voicemail/e-mail thing to. Can anyone tell me when they open in the am? Also how long did people have to wait on hold today?

Scoutsmom, I just called to see when they open tomorrow. It said they are pen M-F 9am-5pm. This is est. Looks like I will be calling in the morning.

Discount is good for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and alcoholic beverages at participating restaurants.

Eelvira, I think FL non-AP holders pay the $70 or $75, renewal for FL res is $60.

The call center has been very busy in the mornings, tapering off in the afternoon.

I waited over an hour this morning. Getting it took about 2 minutes once someone picked up.

I was told that my e-mail confirmation can be used for my trip until I get my card.

Is there anyone who can verify this: I noticed on page 3 of this post a listing of the participating restaurants. The food court at POFQ is listed, but the food court at POR is not. If we decide to stay at POR, then a discount there would be tremendous.

I swear - the details of all these new perks/changes is driving me nuts. One minute I think the new MYW package is the way to go, but now this new AP perk might be worth it if room discount codes come out for later in the summer.

I didn;t notice that POR wasn't on the list. I see that SSR isn't either, probably because SSR wasn't operating when the list was made. I wonder if the list came out while POR was down for rehab, so it was left off? Anyway, I'm sure you could ask DDE if you call for a card.

The food court at POR is not included as they have a sit-down restaurant onsite. POFQ only has the food court which is why it is included.

The food court at SSR is included.

Morning everyone. I just got off the phone with DDE. It only took 7 minutes for them to pick up. I talked to CM Allison and she said that you DDE card is good for the whole year. I told her my AP is over in Nov. and she siaid that I still be able to use my card until the end of Jan. 06. She said it is good for the year after purchase. So those of you going later, may want to wait to get yours.

I ordered late Thursday morning, and received my e-mail on Friday afternoon around 6 pm. We are going down to Disney at the end of this month. I see that you are going soon as well. I'm sure that yours will come on Monday.

I asked the CM if they have a website, and the reply was "not yet." I'm hopeful that means that one is in the works.

There is a list for Florida Residents with the DDE info on the Official Disney Website, but you need a FL zip code to access it.
