So we had our first
bump in the road.......
I got an email from Delta changing our itinerary. I figured it was just a time change and it wouldn't be a big deal because we are flying in the day before. However, when I looked our arrival time only changed by a little over an hour. What had changed was our amount of stops. We originally had 1 stop and now our flight had 2 plane changes. Yikes! I just knew that great fare was going to cost us somehow.

My DH and DS13 are not too big on flying and when they heard they had to survive 3 takeoffs/landings they were not happy. Plus, I figured we would never see our luggage again. No way it would not get lost over 3 flights.

While my mind was running with pictures of trying to get our luggage back from Fiji I noticed the fine print. It said if our arrival time was changed more than an hour we might be eligible to change flights at no cost. I checked....ours changed by an hour and ten minutes!

Jump on to the website, search flight, find a great one so I click the button to see if there would be any charges and I get a message in red that I have to call. Not holding out much hope I pick up the phone and call. Guess what? They changed our flights!!!

All is good in our world again.

Sorry for the long story/rant but just wanted to share.
In other news I made reservations for all of our transportation. Hotel to Pier, Pier to different hotel, hotel to airport. I made them with Already There Transportation. They were super nice and I think the prices are great! I read reviews and people seem very happy with them. In fact, I think I found out about them from a post here on the boards somewhere.
We haven't sailed since they started the arrival times for the port. Do they do this in Seattle or is it just PC? Does anyone know when they open the port and what the first arrival times are? Hoping to get an early one!
My TA is going out of town the first week of March so I'm going to make our final payment next week. Can't wait until the 13th so we can book our excursions.
