AKL Taxi Services To...

I'm trying to find the thread that list previous taxi trips around WDW.

I tried the on-line calculator and call the company directly and got totally different prices.

AKL to Contemporary Resort - 8.25 (online) and $15 (called)
AKL to MK - 8.25 (online) and $25 (called)

This seems like to big of range. Help?

That is a big range. I took a taxi from AKL to ASSp this past September and it cost $7.10 one time, and $7.90 another time. Seems that MK is much further away.

$2.20 first mile, $0.55 each additional 1/4 mile; $0.55 per x seconds of 'wait' time (traffic lights, etc, meter tied into engine to determine idle time). Small premium possible on first entering cab.

Prices from an area resident, not all that long ago, but of course as with everything, subject to change.

That makes the on-line taxi calculator (which is also run by the same taxi service I called) more accurate.

Where did you find the taxi calculator? I am trying to price the trip between Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Gaylord Palms.

I would love to know where the online calculator is, or even just the name of a taxi company in WDW!

I paid $20 to go from WL to AKL.

You should be calling and looking at the Mears Transportation calculator. That is to much difference in the on-line and the called price.
