Hi there!

We are thinking of staying at AKL CL in Aug. We have only ever stayed at the YC and BC. I was thinking of requesting bunk beds instead of 2 Qs. If anyone has stayed at both AKL and BC/YC, how does the room size compare? Will the room have more space to move around in with the bunks vs 2 Qs?

Also, totally ridiculous question .... The BC/YC smell so good as some kind of scent is piped in. Is it the same for AKL?

I'll make sure to post something when I get back. I was put in charge of actually booking the room and I have to say it wasn't hard at all. We were going to originally go late August and there was only one room left. We then decided to switch to late October and there seemed to be plenty of availability there. I'd like to do a video for Youtube of this room as most of the videos (atleast of the Jambo House GV) seem to be really bad quality.

Standard view 1-bedroom villas are on the 5th floor and most would be near the lobby. The standard view 1-bedrooms I have had in the past have all been "pool view" - however, there are standard view villas that are on the savannah, but reclassified because they are not true savannah rooms (i.e., people pen views!).

I always request "near lobby" and have never been disappointed with my villa!
