Actually there are at least 3. This thread, the AKL thread that you are referring to, and there is an AKV thread over on the DVC boards.

brookelizabeth-going back and reading lots of pages-am enjoying your last trip report (half way through) at Saratoga Springs-Henry is tooo cute and it sounds great-i hope he stays well through the rest of trip...sigh...someone in my family always gets sick at least one night each trip but your little guy (and big guy) sounds like he really took one on the chin......it sounds like all ends well though and I'm enjoying all of your detailed writing and great photos...

Well we officially booked last night and I convinced DH that since I am the official trip planner I really decided that we need an extra night (I really wanted 2 more extra nights but decided I wasn't going to push it...) so we are now booked for 6nights 7 days-August 18-24....

Thank you for the sweet words about my little man! All the sickness from the January trip was so stressful, it was better in November when I was the sick one. We are hoping for a sickness free December!

CONGRATULATIONS on your trip!!!!

brookelizabeth-I've finished reading both of your trip reports and enjoyed them very much...it is so much better if someone has to be sick for it to be you than your baby...-my little guy (who is 6 1/2 now) was also one for continuing to eat after getting sick...-it always freaked me out a little because I couldn't imagine wanting to eat after all of that but somehow he wanted too and when they're looking at you for food-well what are you going to do? And while I can't beat your story of Henry at Chef Mickey's...My older one (DD 14) well...um...leaked...while DH and I had lunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe...she was about 4 and had fallen a sleep on the booth bench while we were eating and when we woke her......suffice it to say she doesn't like to talk about it now...


I have 2 questions I'm hoping someone can answer please...

1. Are there ever any Disney Photopass Photographers in the AKL Lobby-i think I read that they've started this somewhere and

2. Does anyone know if they have AKL resort mugs for sale in the Marketplace-last time we were there they only had Animal Kingdom ones... and they are really big...I'd like some...I'm going to bring coffee and filters to have in the room-must have real coffee-or I become -and I'd love to buy some mugs to use and then take home as souvenirs...

I had to come get my Lodge fix and say HI to my Jambo Friends!!!!

I've been hanging out on the DISign board - designing away. I also had gall bladder surgery........... so, for awhile there I was NOT online!!! Anyway - hope everyone is good ~ and a little treat - since I've been very bad and not visited here in so long...............

Elin, this is spectacular. I need to find out whether they have a similar welcome when the cruise line will arrive in Europe again in 2010. Might be a good time for a trip to Barcelona (if that's where they will be based again?)

I have also been thinking that I need to go and see the new ships being delivered. The ship yard where it is being built at the moment is in Germany and it is not really close to the sea. Every new ship has to travel for over 22 miles on a rather smallish river until it gets to the sea. It is always a big event when they deliver a ship and lots of people come to watch it: http://www.ttv-bremen.de/popup.php?id=36 So 2011 I plan on travelling to Papenburg to be one of the first on the DIS boards to see the Disney Dream!
